I don't suppose we can play as a wraithguard can we? they may not be aspect warriors but i would LOVE to play as one of the giant flower pot head people!
Eagle pilots hopefully. A chainsword tends to mean nothing when the person shooting at them is eight miles above their head.
Regarding guardans as civilians... this is somewhat misleading. Guardians are the reservists of the craftworld - they have gone through the training, some have been on campaigns, but they are occupied at civilian tasks until the craftworld leaders decide the aspects are not enough for a given task and, essentially, institute a draft. Calling them "civilians" is more than a little misleading, though - they are armed, trained and battle-worthy, possibly to a standard comparable to a regular IG regiment or an exemplary PDF one. Anyway, I´d like to try a scorpion, spider or an avenger aspect. They have a lot of potential .
Dire Avenger, Ranger or Warlock for me. The last two not being Aspects ... but if the option was there I'd take it
Since DE wont make it in until some time after release and even then mandrake may not make the cut, I guess it's warlock, for the melee with a big sharp sword. Well unless Banshee's make the release then I might have to play one of them, shame that male Banshee's are such a minor footnote
I like the fluff that the SS have gotten in their books, they sound like a very usable aspect warrior, Their heavier armour and CQC tactics sound fun as well, I am a sucker for large sharp objects though lol
