They might not be wearing a helm. but they still have part of the Banshee mask on them. you could do the same with Mandiblasters, crest of a Dire Avenger, skull face paint on a reaper and feathers for hawks. It's a different story for Warlocks and Farseers. They need to hide their mind from the daemons of the warp.
Yeah, I know, I just wanted to say that they can have their head showed. Eldar helmets are wargear that protects their head and provides targeting/battlefield information via a psychic interface connected to the suits psychic "computers" and the Autarch central command & control Eldar "war masks" are psychological states that allows a Eldar to enter/leave a state of a vicious warrior. and btw. aren´t Warlocks and Farseers and other seers have to be trained enough to filter the Warp energies so Daemons cant possess them? And Eldar are possessable only by Slaanesh in the end.
The Eldar soul is already owned by Slaanesh, they just cheat by using spirit stones and the Infinity Circuit. As for Farseer's and such I think they can remove the face plate like everyone and still have the part of the ghost helm that protects them but prefer to wear the full ghosthelms. They do check the skeins of fate on the craft worlds without them but that might be because the craft world itself might protect them.
Well I found out that Jes Goodwin has artwork of Banshee helmet less based of DOW, so it's pretty much official. If GW started making Eldar models without masks, it would give them more variety. Wonder when they will start doing them. They have some males, but no females so far.
