Interesting debate. In my opinion aspect warriors should get their respective aspect color theme with maybe small elements such as shoulder plates (rangers), feathers (dire avengers) different helms color mix of the same craftworld and so on... great exemple: If your want to go crazy on color customisation then go nuts on your harlequin. Peace
Rangers aren't aspect warriors. The cloaks could be customizable for whatever camo there could be but the armour underneath should be their craftworld's. (Ps. Those ogryns and catachans are about to have a bad time...)
err yeah bad exemple for aspect warriors. find this gem in the fanart section. Here is an exemple of how different armors can be upgraded or changed for the warlocks :
I just want to point out the new addition to the founder store, the Avenger Catapult is set to change colour schemes depending on which Craftworld you're with i.e. Green and White for Biel-Tan, Yellow and Blue for Iyanden etc. Could be we see something like that? I already posted the models I found in the Iyanden Supplement, sure they maintained basic Aspect colours but they were unique in that they had Yellow/Blue (Iyanden's main colours) somewhere on them (Fire Dragons had Yellow tabard/tassel type things, Dire Avengers had yellow.. laurels? Head.. fins.. I forget the word! and Darker Blue Armour). So you can maintain your colours as an Aspect Warrior but still stand out among the same Aspects from other Craftworlds.. Again, that's the approach i'd take, both for customization and consistency's sake. Plus with Accessories being available various bits and bobs might take on Craftworld/Aspect colours.
I like the idea of small details like that. I was always a fan of banner pennants on eldar on poles on their backs. Always looked good and each pennant could be customised too.
No matter what, I will be the shiniest Iyanden Warlock to ever walk on Arkhona. Or I certainly hope I will be able to run around in my bright yellow robe, and be spotted 3.7 km away. One thing I really wish for, is an option to change the color scheme on Striking Scorpions. Just make be able to choose between different types of camouflage (unlock able of course). They should be as follow: Standard = Green (the one we all know and love) Winter = White with green spots/stripes Desert = Light brown-ish and maybe an Autumn = red/yellow/orange Yes, i know this is all that lore friendly, but I refuse to believe that the Eldar doesn't use camouflage pattern for their stealthy units, that would simply be far to stupid to fathom.
