Gotcha. ^^ I'm EST - though my sleep schedule's erratic enough that I tend to be on at almost any time of day. Not wanting to seem impatient though - was just pointing it out for anyone curious.
I live in the UK so technically GMT, though my sleep schedule is terrible so I am often up late. Linaya and Valerian are practicing outside so I daresay anyone would be able to see and approach them if they wanted to At least, for convenience let's say it's so.
I'm GMT+1. I have very little time during the weekends to write and I realise I haven't posted this weekend so I'll start working on something now.
Two quick questions. First: Do the Eldar use money? I know that in the "Path of the Eldar" series that they don't, but I didn't want to assume for this RP Second: @BadDo9 what are we doing for making up places? I could have written about the restaurant and described it a bit (at least how I think I might be like) but I'm not sure how you feel about me making up places and describing them?
#1 - Mmm... I don't know. I personally see it as a somewhat barter-centric society, but I'm not sure. #2 - I have no problem with you guys/gals making up details about places, journeys, etc. As long as it doesn't contradict anything I have said, and isn't really GM-y. Like no saying where enemies are or that something attacks you, unless I give license for that (which I sometimes do) Does that all make sense? I can wait for you to add some detail if you wish.
In that case, what can an aspect warrior barter for his food? As usual. Let the GM dictate the flow, understood. It makes sense. I'll leave the post as it is. Let's talk have a chat on the way to the restaurant first.
I think this is right too, though it doesn't say much if anything in the lore about currency. It does say that material wants are taken care of on the Craftworlds, which are free of the need to work for a living. (One reason the Exodites disagree with their lifestyle.) So I have always gone with barter for goods or services, which makes sense as the Craftworlds do trade with external sources. Plus in a galaxy so huge, there is no overall currency, so the worth of goods to a particular society tends to determine their value at the time. So basically yes, no currency as such, but I think they would provide some of those shiny things Humans like so much to Eldar who went to travel and trade, for example. Just not Craftworld Credits or similar EDIT: He doesn't have to The Craftworlds are post-scarcity and no-one has to pay to eat. I think of it as like when Cisco's dad runs a restaurant in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He doesn't have to, but he really likes cooking, and people like his food, so, that's what he does.
