As an Ork I say I'm out until next patch

  1. So how DID you become the mayor of liartown? Is it an elected position or did you just lie your way into office?

I don't know you guys tell me. You know you can just do the math with the weapon stats right?

All these threads are is a bunch of anecdotal evidences from frustrated players, most of them new to the game. We don't have any stats for the last two patches and the win rates are not representative of the balance of the game AT ALL. Space marine always had a crappy win ratio even when there were only 2 factions in the game and they were completely symmetrical.

The win rates ratios will be worth something one month after released, when the game will have a bigger, more experienced active player base.

I'm sorry but how are win rates at the moment not worth anything, especially because they show a MASSIVE imbalance. But in the future, especially only a month, they'll be worth a look at? I don't see the difference. Coupled with the fact that we're testers, it's kind of our responsibility to keep track of this stuff. I can guarantee you that if people buy into this game, see how bad the balance is. A lot will quit and refund. Which will kill the game.

I literally explained it. Player base experience with the game. I even gave you the example of the SMvsCSM win rate when the factions were identical.

You're sole reason was because more players. While more is better to get an accurate representation, you'd be a fool to simply disregard data that points to a very large issue.

LSM and CSM were only ever "balanced" for maybe 1 patch. Before the assault classes were introduced the sides were locked into forced defending or attacking, which skewed the results. And after that there was the issues of balancing the nurgle compared to the shield bro, and I know you were there for that. and even if after the removal of forced attack/defend positions the difference in winning was never as large as it is right now.

Furthermore, that was when there were only 2 races to pick from. There's 4 now. There's still a significant gap between orks and every other faction in win percents. Unless you're going to be one of those players who say "lol it's all skill git gud". I find it highly unlikely that all the skilled players picked a specific fraction, and all the bad players picked every other faction.

Also. you never refuted my points about even if the data was useless, why as testers, are we ignoring it.

WAAAGH!! is triggered after a set amount of time. In maps with three Control Points, for example, it will always trigger after 18 minutes, and in Harkus it will trigger after 25 minutes
  7. You are comparing weapon stats only. You pretend that horrible bullet spread or the squishiest race due to xbox heug hit zones are not factored in. And how you "feel" about it being better than marines is irrelevant in the face of actual evidence, the fact the maps for orks are so one sided it's not funny. You can't say wait until the community is more experienced in a month for two reasons.
A: most of us before playing orks played other races, we have plenty of experience and it takes maybe two weeks to git gud with a race with previous game experience and
B: there won't BE an ork community in a month. With this level of fair balance half will switch sides or just stop playing. We are no battlefield. It's not like if 50 of us quit you could just say " oh well bring in the replacement chumps". There won't be any.

  8. Yes, please. I look forward to seeing this proof and eating my hat.
  9. So, are you guys having a better experience when playing other factions?

Some of those problems are universal (teleporting).

Shoota has decent accuracy. At least with the muzzle brake (only shoota I've tested so far) but it's hard to tell when you actually hit someone since the reticle sucks now.

Seriously though, I want my big shoota back but 40k req probably isn't worth it. It wasn't THAT good.
