    Thanks for the feedback guys.
I'm getting a lot of people saying I should start with the Horus Heresy.

The only problem I think I might have with that is that I'm already extremely familiar with the lore surrounding that story.

Also, I'd love books with violent and bloody combat.

ADB does good combat, Night Lords and Helsreach are great from him, CSM and LSM focused respectively. Everyone else has combat scenes, even Abnett, that tend to be tell and not show a lot of the time, or skim over the interesting parts that get involved when you're shooting self-propelled bullets and such.
  3. Try "Legion of the damned" with the excrutiator chapter stopping a blood crusade, litters of blood, mutilation and gore all the way till the end.
My favorite book in the Battle of Space Marines
  4. NurgleBurger NurgleBurger Steam Early Access

"Cooking with Nurgle" is a must.
  5. Delgear Steam Early Access

I kinda liked the novels about Jaq draco as well(i think its called inquisition war ? maybe) ..... so much heresy needin' purgin', i second eisenhorn.

jaq draco has a squat though so that novel is probably *Blam* heresy and not canon anymore.
  6. Look up Vaults of Terra on youtube and onemindsyndicate.
    They'll help you out.
  7. hsp hsp First Blood!

You will still love the books, trust me.
The Ravenor Omnibus is also pretty damn nice.
  8. Wulfburk Wulfburk Steam Early Access

Ya everyone knows horus turn traitor but we all loved the first 3 novels on how that happened.
    Timmymachine likes this.
  9. Celestia Celestia Prefectus

    I loved eisenhorn and ravenor.
  10. Timmymachine Timmymachine Arkhona Vanguard

This, the first 3 books were the best stories I've read! Both Space Wolves omnibuses are great too imo :)
