Armor on UAT

So I'm curious what people think.

'Ard Armor costs 200lp and gives the following:
    +20 Armor
    +20 Toughness

SM Armor's are now exactly the same as each others and the first upgrade gives:

    + 20 Armor
    -0.5 Armor Regen Delay
    +20 Toughness

    for 230 LP.

That's fair enough, and somewhat close. However.

'Eavy Armor now costs 280LP and gives the following:

    +30 Armor
    +25 Toughness

SM T3 armor does the following for a 360LP cost:

    +30 Armor
    -1.0s armor regen delay
    +30 Toughness.

Now. This means that just by Armor alone, LSM will have the advantage, though only Ground Assaults and Devastators can buff their Toughness up to 155. Any CSM can with MoN, much as any Ork will be able to do with the Rusty Gob with only now gives 30 Toughness. A CSM Traitor has 360 Effective health with 160 Toughness with MoN. With a Gob in place, the shoota by comparison has 351 effective health with 155 Toughness.

With a basic Shoota and Tactical build with equivalent weapons

The Shoota has an effective health of 401 at 125 Toughness, while the Tactical has 357 with 130 Toughness. I did however, have an spare 110LP on the Shoota, though since you can't put anything but stam, stam or armor regen items in the second wargear slot, I'd likely mean a second stikkbomb.

Since MoN also now gives +20 health for the same 150lp cost, why doesn't the Rust Gob still have 15hp on it? It's current LP cost of 120, and is basically the inferior, yet slightly cheaper MoN.

Edited! Made a mistake with Ork Ehp.
Edited again! CSM EHP was wrong.

Mark of Nurgle needs a change honestly, perhaps a lp increase to 200lp over other marks since it does a ton, it will give like more toughness, health and poison resistance for 150lp compared to something like Mark of Khorne which has a list of severe downsides with some meh buffs for the same price, I could see that drop to 100lp and /or get a 0.1 buff

The difference between it and the gob would be the existence of the downside, gob doesn't kill like 300lp worth of stamina regen in addition to being 30lp cheaper so I doubt they would buff the gob to be semi comparable with MoN for that reason, how severe that downside is depends on the player but at least gob will never bite you hard when you need it most as rare as that occasion is (unless you use MoK:CSMWord:)

MoK Now also gives 20ph. It doesn't quite make up for lack of a downed state though. It's an extra hit maybe. The Rusty Gob on Live, while being restricted to the Slugga is the same cost as MoN with the same toughness and +15 health. Since i often use a shield, i don't find myself utilizing stamina unless it's something i don't think the shield can tank. So it reducing my stamina would have no impact on me with the Gob.

Yeah that's the tricky part, MoN does have 300lp worth of down sides but like me with MoS I never noticed them or they got nullified by the buff, all due to that player preference/builds, like how MoN means nothing as a Havoc but as a JPA/GA it would sting.

The MoK buff I like, I'm doing a build where I only use MoK GA and Havocs so any buff to the mark is welcomed.
One change I would like on the mark though is a full health heal on a execution, on my HB I just shoot the dude to sap what I can which makes me miss on that bonus 80 exp finisher:mad:

While a little off topic since it's supposed to be about Ork Armor not Chaos Marks. :p I did manage to kill a Tactical in melee with my MoK Havoc. Some extra regen there would have been amazing. Even if it was only a 50% health restore from executing, it'd make you less likely to be one shot on the way to an ammo box.

One thing I will give the armour changes are Orks certainly have better value/flexible armour looking at the changes, Like with the mark talk the bonus to LSM armour regen is 60lp if we go by the 30lp for the 0.5 stat in the tier 1 armour, this effect is minor or unnoticeable yet priced heavily in addition to the 5 bonus toughness makes the tier 2 armour 80lp more expensive on LSM compared to the Orks, while your toughness is 5 points lower with that price reduction you could grab a nade/ammo/health with 2 or 3 trinkets or a mod with the cheaper armour.

And for the tier 1 Ork armour 200lp is a nice number to build into compared to 230 plus that 30lp is wasted on a imo pointless stat which you can spend on a weapon mod or trinkets, Its interesting since Orks will have better build options with that left over lp which is big, I'm guessing this will be very nice when weapon mods/weapon prices change, its strange how Orks get better tactical flexibility though, seems like the armours should have been in reverse for them and LSM.

It does make a grenade bundle or even a knuckle upgrade something you can sink points in to. I don't like using all these fancy abbreviations but given TTK, you usually only notice armor regen delay when your in a firefight, but the Ork/CSM/Eldar stays put to let your armor regen, which is something they shouldn't do to start with given LSM rely far more heavily on Armor for EHP than anyone else does.

I wouln't mind being able to change the first wargear slot in game though, between two things. Like the +40 hp wargear (200lp) or the Rusty Gob (120 as previously stated) Though that would very likely to be to deal with specific threats like Vengeances, or Eldar.

So with the current UAT patch that just shipped, the gobs now only give 20 Toughness down from 30 but retain previous LP costs. The final ork tier of armor has also gone up to 350LP and has been given no additional bonuses to make up the cost.

In general ork feels kinda trash right now on UAT if those test rounds were any indication if the patch goes live I may take a short break X-D

Are they at least going to play around with some QoL things that orks need like d bash recovery, dodge roll distance/recovery, or anything relating to animations in general? They still have a lot of stuf that doesn't "feel right" to be messing around with tons of number changes.
