You've been gone a long time it seems.

F2W is no longer a thing. More than likely it's sitting on the back burner waiting for EC to truly take a dive.

Not necessarily a bad idea imo to have an ace in your pocket in case things go sour.

    Most games I know don't have a plan B.

    Could be a lot worse.

50$ for "could be a lot worse" is unacceptable to the casual video game consumer.

Most of the ork faction didnt want it due to it promoting a cannon fodder like notion of orks in a game while most likely dragging down our good stuff to balance everything if implemented. I doubt many new players would actually stick around when every single game is just spawn, die, spawn, die repeat with nothing fun actually happening.

And suddenly I'm the PR guy talking to the "Casual Gamer" wearing another "Arkohna Vanguard"?

    How did this happen?

I could consider the feedback from 6 of my life-long friends casual enough. They don't like it, the majority of normal people who are new to the 40k genre don't like it, reviewers don't like it, hell even some hardcore 40k players don't like it. I may not be a PR guy but you've got to view the player response to this game from other websites/stores bud.

It would have worked if this game was Planetside 40k, where cannon fodder is sometimes good to have. But as of now it being a matchmaking lobby shooter, hell no. F2W would be a bad idea; having ork vs ? filled to the brim with unequipped fodder. Bah!

I've got a guild of 160 players that like the game and play regularly against hundreds of other people?

Compared to the literal thousands (Atm there are 83,000 owners) that bought this game and left in a short period of time. What you have right now is what you're going to get but gradually shrink for about 5-6 months till they lose interest; unless there are players that are just hardcore enough to stay. I don't expect it to increase from there if the game continues on its path.

I'm not too sure if you've been seeing the reviews+player feedback recently. The more bad reviews, the more likely players are not going to buy and play this game, the less players you will have to play with, on top of that the current player base that is already slowly shrinking. Soon but sadly you're going to be playing with the same people in almost every match in a few months.
