Everything about Division was false advertising. They promised and were talking about it as open world MMOTPS where you meet other players and so fight them in one gigantic PVP city which was supposed to be bigger than Fallout 4 by some hyúed fools... it actually ended close to co-op instanced boring PVE where PVP is making you suffer mostly. Not mentioning missing Brooklyn they showed on E3 and everything about "downgrade". They didnt even apologise. The arrogant milk hungry monsters. Every their game suffers this fate. And yet people are angry about Eternal Crusade like if it was dead already, ignoring all their work and one, really important fact - they always informed their community about things. Not like others are not doing this - no, 3/4 of current developers do what they want cause addicted animals will do their bidding. Sorry, but after Battlefront, Ubisoft´s regalia for false advertising, I will be rather stuck with this game and see where it goes than pay 130 for full content of AAA game.
But I think people should think twice. After they jumped on UE4, and reseted everything it became pretty obvious, I was hectic, telling friends to consider it, cause the development seemed pretty chaotic, but why, its 40k, has to be open world. Maybe if they changed the name of the project and acted more like "what if future" it would end up much better with all those ignorant monkeys who are now comparable to Open Society fanatic.
For sure. I just really wanted to see my favorite universe come to life as a full living world. I like the game and had it been just a lobby shooter I would have bought it. I will cling to the hope that this will blossom into something more just like with division. besides I need at least 300 hours of game play to make the money I spent worth it. See you guys in game
Actually, I am still dreaming of Planetside like map full of bases, palaces etc. where you can just spawn Webway gate somewhere on map and raid enemy base or interrupt some Chaos ritual made by players the Eldar way. Or seeing big battle on going somewhere, and just take of some primitives with Ranger... But you know the thing with hope and disappointment.
I think what that you're misunderstanding. If the product we got today was exactly the same as it is today but with the original presentation being for a revival of the lobby shooter space marine I would be content. Pissed at the micro transactions sure but content, the games fun enough to justify 40$. I got what i backed. But this is a pale shadow of what i backed. And theres next to no hope that the dream us backers poured hundred of thousands into will ever become reality. Some of you obviously don't care but a majority are quite understandably upset about the out come. Just like you I hope that this game becomes something great but I'm not blinded to reality.
yes Literally just give me planet side 40k and I will be crazy happy with the game. Someone said something on another thread that made me pause. This game was released a year earlier than we all thought it would. So I owe them at least a year
yeah what happened to the open persistent world and literally everything else missing? where are all the weapon variants of each weapons, and what about the character customisation? Most of the appearence slots dont even have anything to change TO
Eldar dont have it yet. Noah wrote it somewhere on the forums and others said it during stream. Eldar appereance is coming in next hotfix.
Guys you need to step back a little and watch the game for what it is. Just forget what you thought it would be 2 years ago. (People who believe blindly in what a stranger advertising will always end up disappointed. I am one of the guys who waited 15 years after Daoc to have something as much fun in rvr . So i know it's hard to not believe ). I never did have any hype for this game. And I really enjoy It. Yes, ATM it's a niche game. Yes, it's not as popular as some game with a shitty darkpvpzone with 10 people who are playing at hide&seek and who need a big skull on the map to say: " I killed someone!!!"... Yes, things we need are missing , but you already paid for it what does it cost you to wait a little more to see if they do improve it enough or not.
