Well then it seems this is primarily a very slight nerf intended on preventing things like Elites getting OHKed, which is what the majority of the community wants.... and again, the Rokkit will deal something like 90-99% of their hp, and outright obliterate the Elite (and possibly even a Terminator, though their stats remain to be seen) with that 1400 damage direct hit. So, Orks, I think your weapon is fine, and you likely won't see much change with the Rokkits.
tested with some other dlb boys in uat, launcher is more accurate with less radius on ground, does the same damage otherwise, ace dakka still evaporates people. has my approval.
I'm fairly confident the rocket never did 1200 on the edge as I've managed to hurt and not kill marines with the rocket before. Don't know what the min damage currently for live though.
Nope, was 1400 with a minimum falloff of 1200. Tested on dummies and players in the Garrison. Totally possible the stagger extended beyond the 6m or the client said you hit but the server never registered though. edit: Just confirmed the 1400/1200 is still on Live. Couldn't remember if the 300 was in the last hotfix (patch notes, tee hee). Minimum damage (1200 @ 3m) Fatal spread blast pattern. Every round hit for 1200 except one on the very left that swerved like an SOB, had to reshoot it.
Sort of given up on Orks until they get some love, or something. Then again, trying to play Space Marines is test of queue patience...
Please test things out on UAT before you freak the fuck out. Half of these comments read like clickbait.
Well it's well established that orks are the worst race, with little to no advantages in any category people can think of. So any nerf is simply making an already underpowered race even worse.
