Well, if Bloodquest got an additional story, there's no reason to think other fan favourite comics might not make a comeback.
40k comics are going to make a comback. I forget who but there is supposedly a dedicated series of comics being made?
There's definitely a selection being lined up, but there's been a variety of different artworks and looks presented. I'm as of yet unsure if this is going back to the old Inferno! short story format or if they're trying to launch ongoing series again.
I heard rumors of a consistent deff skwadron comic and came leggin it. Because holy shize a freakin dedicated deff skwadron comic or anything orky at all has me shoutin out stop muckin bout loike grots an take me teef ( sometimes paying GW prices is like pulling teeth so i know how orks feel, kinda ) !
Whatever it is I hope it provides a diverse and detailed list of stories involving all factions in the 40k universe and isn't just a bunch of SM wank.
I would do it this way: "Freebootaz" A Boy becomes a Flash Git, gets expelled from his horde and joins the Freebootaz. "Kult of Speed" A Boy joins the Kult of Speed. His obsession with machines turns out to be a side-effect of him becoming a Mekboy. "Weird Fings" The Boy is a member of a horde of Feral Orkz, fighting some enemies in jungle warfare. Sometimes weird fings happen in battle. One day a Waaagh reaches the planet. The Feral Orkz join forces with the Waaagh and get integrated into their society. As the protagonist is for the first time surrounded by a huge number of Orkz, his Weirdboy-talents awake in full, just in time for a Tyranid/Tau/Necron counter-attack.
