Are the devs actually balancing or are they just throwing new stuff ?

    Vehicles are meaningless because Melters destroy them in seconds.
    The devs have known this forever.
    Did they do something about it?
    No.

    Plasma-spamming.
    A Plasma-Cannon can one-shot a character without any of the delay- or aiming-problems that aaaaaaaall other heavy weapons have.
    The devs have known this forever.
    Did they do something about it?
    No.

    Melee needs tweaking.
    The devs have known this forever.
    Did they do something about it?
    No.



    Instead, what did they spend their precious time on?
    Beards.
    Mother-f**king cosmetics for a game that's in no way balanced and technically still in Beta.

    They knew they were running out of time.
    They knew they were running out of money.
    They knew they had to get the game to a stage where it can be launched in good conscience.
    And they spent their time on mother-F**KING beards.

    Protect your vehicles... more than 1 player per vehicle and you are fine...

    Also the anger level is of a 13 year old who just got their testosterone level slightly increased, so let it go bud, let it go. This is a forum not an anger management session.

    You're also talking about two different jobs. The team in charge of game balance is different from the team adding visuals like beards. And no, the guys doing beards cannot hop onto the balance team, it's a different skill set.

    I think the simple answer is that it takes time to come up with the proper solution and they are probably testing it out to see what works best. Rushing out a quick fix could cause more problems than what is currently going on. I'd rather they take their time and do it right.

    Another remake of melee? No please, it can become even worse than rock/paper /scissors... It did last time that they revamped it... Still it would be interesting to see a system that has blocking, parrying, thrusting, different types of swinging and such but it would take a ridiculous amount of time to develope something like that.

    Plasma and auto cannon spam could be handled by limiting them to vet classes.
  9. Or just remove the damn weapon, we dont need it, there is no cover that we need to uproot people from. These weapons should just be reworked or removed period. Seriously what role does it fill? I understand it would be useful if people actually hid behind cover, but since cover barely works and people just run around anyway and we have melee jumping in...i seriously dont see the point of those weapons, especially since they cant get them balanced or fun to play against.

    To behonest if you look up a bit about the company, you will see that they don't create these kinda games (shooters, MMO style games). The games they have made are the ones you usually find in the bargain bin. For example, 'SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge'. After researching them a bit, its no surprise that they are pissing around with things they have never done before. They also do more funding than developing.
    Unreal engine is an amazing engine in the right hands. Unfortunately the Devs of EC are inexperienced in this field of game creating with unreal, plus the type of game. This is why balance doesn't happen, or any other thing for that matter. They simply don't know what to do, as they have never done a game like this.
