Are Space Marines better than Chaos Space Marines?

Hi guys, just wondering what you guys think, are Space Marines currently designed to be better than Chaos Space Marines? Do you feel the power of your power armour units versus the Chaos opposition?

Some things I think why Space Marines have that are good strengths:

    1. Tacticals can wear Tier 3 (Rank 5) Armour and still have a decent weapon.

    2. Space Marines have Storm shields!

    3. Apothecaries can use Bolters or even Chain sword of fury and Industrial Plasma pistol.

    4. Space Marines have Iron Bane (AP 200!)

If played smartly, do you think Space Marines will always win Chaos Space Marines? Feel free to voice your opinion, thanks!

LSM needs brains and cohesive teamwork for the most part. Otherwise, how many you do not improve them, still they will die like flies.
Although Chaos now has a recipe for victory (after the last patch) it's simple - melee spam (and every second with a broken poison sword that hangs poison even when parrying) and autocannons.

The poison chainsword for chaos really turn the tide when it comes to fighting chaos, it's a real pain in the ass to fight off, as it reinforce every aspect of melee with a raptor, a single mistake in melee is not forgivable, and with distance, if the raptor is on maps that are pretty open with multi-objectives, hit and run in the middle of the shooting line is excessivly devastating.

Otherwise, Space marines got the way to deal against Chaos, but the Loyalist Space marines tactica need generally more teamwork, more experience to be effective, while Chaos got classes that are a lot easier to put inside the teamwork, to the expense of not having some of the advantages of their loyalist counterpart.

For the example, getting used to the sorcerer as a healer is far more simpler and safe than the apothecaries, because of having a simpler way to aim and heal it's targets. As such, they are easy to put into a pug strategy as long as you play smartly. On the opposite, once a player knows how to handle his apothecary, he can become a far more effective frontline healer than the sorcerer, the apothecary still got to handle the close healing that can be pretty messy with his syringe, but an apothecary that knows his shit is capable to make it look like there is actually 2 healers on the frontline thanks to a well placed healing grenades.
An apothecary that knows how to handle his syringes in the right situation, compared to the sorcerer that can heal on the move and heal safely from cover, but at the expense to always need to be on the frontline with his blessed brothers, the apothecary with a well placed hidden healing grenades can litteraly go to the other side of the frontline do his job, or simply always stay out of the shooting line without having to fear that his brothers die without heal, as he is elsewhere doing the real difficult part of the apothecary job with his syringe.

Both classes got their pros and cons, but in general, some of the chaos class mechanics that are unique to chaos is generally more beginner-friendly, with some expense in it on a larger scale.

LSM can into gravgun+melta combo. That's all.
If there will be a duel between skilled CSM Traitor with loadout for toughness and HP( red armor+MoN+armor and health trinkets) and skilled LSM tactical with same loadout, then LSM will win.

In a battle of csm vs sm? eldar would win.

No maybe in all seriousness the team that destroys enemy transports wins.

So its eldar again, check the orangutan thread.

Yeah, its pretty much so that teamwork (enemy transport destroying and abusing the redeploy teleport) and skillfull players (who simply abuse adad and bolter) is the thing that wins the games. Seen this countless times.

But other than that to super simplify this in this kind of game the faction is simply as strong as its strongest loadout, if the team chooses to abuse it its up to them. So its pretty much i dunno... nurgle sword vs bolter/gravgun? haven't played in a while so don't remember SM meta but something like that.

Eldar can not win anybody. They are glass, scattered from any sneeze (some power ax in the back generally fall from one quick blow), run with the speed of the Space Marines (now), ADAD does not work ...
All they have is dragons and diving hawks. And this is not enough for victory.

By the way, maybe I'll open a terrible secret for you ... But if there's a driver in the rhino who does not sleep and looks around, destroying his car becomes quite difficult.

Servo skull for weaklings. True sons of the Emperor prefer only shooting from the bolter to the feet. Or in the back of the allied melee. To help a brother and save his soul from Chaos is holy.

CSM are the stronger faction, mainly due to Chaos Marks.
