did you look at overall territories and not the Bar as the bar starts full after you lose a territory? Just checked we have lost 2 territories to chaos, so not holding up by any measure. We actually hold up better vs orks as they have taken less from us.
Exactly why the melee use rate is going up if we are going by that statistic. Why would I use a Bolter, especially as CSM, when I can use a sword and be so much more effective? LSM Tactical might as well run full time Melta and kill vehicles and initiate captures, and avoid all confrontations. Damn you just triggered me.
I am not sure who you mean by "top faction", but no matter what it's flagrantly wrong. LSM are losing 12 to 4 against Eldar and 10 to 6 against CSM, with the "color bar" on the 17th territory showing LSM disadvantage as well
LSM are fine, it's literally a matter of having the biggest player base and that the faction attracts the most noobs. It is a legitiment gitgud problem. Teach your initiates, space marines are supposed to value their scouts and new bloods.
I think we are playing different game, since map-wise Eldar are winning with CSM hard. As stated in the OP, its from your memory but your memory is lacking. Your assumptions are contrary to what is actually happening in the game. CSM is winning with LSM and Orcs and loosing badly with Eldar, Orks are winning with LSM and loosing with everyone else, Eldar win with everyone. Get your facts straight. This topic is pointless since its based on false assumptions, which are easy to verify. just launch your game look on the map.
Look at the statistic in the last Twitch on what faction score the highest since game release. 1. Eldar ( with by far the smallest number of players ) 2. Chaos 3 Orks 4 SM ( highest number of players by far ) SM are bad. Really bad. Nuff said
The only thing the win ratio is going to tell you is the number of noobs in each faction. It has little to do with actual balance. CSM always had a higher win rate than SM even when the two factions were completely symmetrical. You also have to take int account the number of active guilds because coordinating to cap points is much more important than having slightly better weapons. So yeah, pulling the win/loss ratios as an argument to balance factions is completely and utterly stupid.
Yeah, that's dismissing the actual problem. LSM are genuinely UP. Fill the game with bots, LSM would still lose
those numbers dont necessarily come from skill, a op faction can and will increase a players xp amount
To be fair, your average LSM player isn't too bad. I know a bunch of people would read that and laugh their dumb little heads off, but it's true. Loyalists lose a lot simply because of their high population, and a good chunk of newbies that shun the concept of teamwork and running anywhere but directly into the enemy's line of fire. And aside from the Furry Priest; the LSM faction is pretty bland right now. We get decent heal grenades and a Storm Shield, which realistically isn't good for anything but closing distance and 1v1 duels.
