Current implementation of Waaagh! is absolutely garbage, because it ruins the game for at least one team whenever Orks defend:
On a fortress, they lose their ability to preserve the limited respawns.
On a skirmish, any point held by Orks becomes unassailable.
In 90% of both cases, the game might as well end 5 minutes early.

On top of that, a Waaagh! is, in an immediate battlefield sense, a latent psychic ability of Orks to become a cohesive military force, instead of their usual chaotic rabble.

Current implementation of Waaagh! is predominantly focused on the terms use as a name for a large gathering of Orks, which is irrelevant to actually achieving Waaagh! as a state of mind, and should instead be focused on making cohesive Ork squads more threatening.

Waaagh! should be implemented as a set of passives that affect all Orks forming a cohesive squad(like a bosspole), such as: Health regeneration, a chance not to use ammo, etc.

    That's your content now.

On almost every fortress defense I have played on as an ork, waagh has cost us the game. The ticket bleed when you can no longer be revived from a downed state is atrocious.

Calling it "a negative thing on some maps some of the time" is understating the issue. Ork fortress defenses are practically an auto-loose unless you happen to be facing a terrible enemy team that can't make it past A.

    1) You can no longer break stuns as JPA like it used to be. The AoE thing barely does damage and is only a short stun. And PF removal is in another poll thread currently being discussed, check it out.
I believe the influx of JPAs is due to new LSM players who want to try melee picking JPAs in order to close the gap quickly. Not hard to guess they die just as easy. I dont see a drastic Raptor population increase at all so thats the only logical explanation i can give it. Same reason we're seeing many LSM tacs. So no, its not cus JPA is OP, its cus its appealing to new players. Thats like if one was to say: LSM are OP cus we see so many new players play LSM. Know what i mean?
    3) Grav Cannon isn't meant for heavy weapons duels. Or what, you want it to slow shit down like crazy AND beat the autocannon in a duel? Chill out, LSM got their fire ailment nerf already after the Abaddons Grace complaints, and what did that lead to? Exactly, the nerfage of both AG and some of their own weapons that were only badass cus of fire ailment.
    5) Even though they're large they're supposed to be made of light materials and, well, by lore they are pretty damn fast...so there's gotta be some other way i guess.

    The rest is fair enough.

Ork waaagh is just a bad mechanic. It's too strong when it kicks in and the orks don't have tickets and too terrible when it kicks in and they do need to conserve tickets. It needs an overhaul.

But no, your right, lets just have Ork's auto-loose every fortress defense and auto-win every other close match that enters the final 5 minutes. That's a great bi-polar mechanic.....

    1. Fix the break stun for jpa. The counter to power fist is d-bash and jpa can get out of it so there's a lot of jpa fist cheese.

    2. Maybe make WAAAGH double the boss pole aoe and double the boss pole effect?

    3. Agreed, lower accuracy of autocannon.

    5. I'd like them to be lower to the ground but I haven't had too much of problem with them as they are.

    6. Deff cannon needs to be fixed. It'll drop it's shot short for some reason. Maybe because of suppression? The reticle goes nuts during suppression as well, this needs to be toned down. The deff cannon would be great for attacking fortress maps if it worked properly.

    8. Ork animations and interactions need polish.

    9. Nerf penetration on csm sorcerer. It has 140 pen. Most ork weapons have 80 pen. Or devs could increase ork melee damage or pen or both.

    10. Polish painboy syringe interaction.

They are alive. I assure you...
They are closing critic threads from forum so devs are alive!
Kool aid brigade is fine, mods are keeping censure with devs silent acceptation to maintain ilussion of happines... They are alive.
Soon you will hear more promisses - that means that "development" is continuing.
Then you will see more delays - that means "development" is continuing with usuall pace.
    Everything is fine:D

Yes you can, I see it done all the time. If you get D-Bashed just hit dodge as he kicks you and you fly right around behind them for a quick hit.

  9. I do not have the same feeling. Last time I played 2 days ago it was a nightmare, basically impossible to win against a JPA in melee. And it adds up to the current status of PF definitely too powerful.
Against PF JPA you cannot clang, cannot stun, cannot flee. You can just dodge keeping your fingers crossed someone will unload a full clip of Shoota / Shuriken Catapult / Autocannon in his back.

And even in this case the JPA can manage to fly away (possibly throwing a grenade in between).

This is unacceptable, JPA must be stunnable.

The circle of life of an Airborne Melee specialist:

A new JPA / Raptor / Stormboy is given a Gene Seed and takes to the sky for the first time . . .

(hundreds of hours, misery, pain and suffering later, peppered with moments of beautiful murder)

A new player sees a veteran JPA / Raptor / Stormboy doing well in Melee, so they strap on a jump pack for the first time and fall from the sky in a disappointing futt wondering what went wrong.

Things can either go one of two ways from here.

Either the circle of life is completed and hundreds of hours are spent.

Or the circle of life is interrupted and the following occurs:

The new airborne player dosen't put in the required hundreds of hours of misery, pain and suffering required, to temper their mind till their jump pack and weapon are like a second skin to them.

Frustrated, not understanding the class they come on to the forums and we get this thread.
