THANK YOU VERY MUCH BALANCING TEAM IT HAS BEEN AN AMAZING PATCH. OH LOOK AT HOW MUCH FUN THE SM PLAYERS ARE HAVING. YOUR TEMPORARY SOLUTION DID WONDERS and no hotfix yet.
Again. let me repeat myself for the billionth time. I am not asking for a perfect balance. i am asking for a playable game Now the game is broken, do you know what we do to broken things? we hotfix them.
I understand it is just an option, what I still think you are not understanding is if you HAD to trade the jump pack to put MoN on a Raptor, why would you when you can put it on a Traitor and cap points. To be totally honest, after I've gotten better at melee I really don't care about MoN lol. IF defensive bash did work properly EVERY TIME (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't) I would kill 90% of MoNs trying to kill me even as a devastator haha. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=655787250 Unless I'm attacked by a horde of them lol. I just hope they don't nerf it back TO much. I still want a fight haha.
You're assuming that a Traitor MoN should be or would be as survivable as they are now. They shouldn't be because they can cap.
no jump pack raptor don't exist. this is why the ground melee of chaos is the traitor and not the raptor. so yes will be possible to have a mark of nurgle raptor with jetpack. but the mark of nurgle will be different for each class.
Sorry for posting this late but I was away these days! Just wanted to say that i'm really glad about this kind of responses! I'm used to read more...agressive/rager people in other communities
The discussion seems to be going around in circles at this point. Basically it comes down to thought that right now Chaos is winning at such a high rate that SM players are not having fun, and many are simply not playing the game right now. That's not good for anyone. The main issue seems to revolve around the fact that between standard Traitors and MoN, around 75% of Chaos players are playing a capping class. In order to hope to compete with MoN SM have to field more Shields, which means that right now probably 25% of them or less are playing capping classes. Then once the battle is at the actual capture point, 8/10 times melee is stronger in those areas than ranged, meaning that the faction that has more than 60+% of their playerbase playing melee has a bit of an advantage. Then once the battle ends, even if SM wins it, the chances of them having someone available to capture the point is severely limited, unlike Chaos which is pretty much guaranteed to have a capper. At this point, an attempt needs to be made to make a playable game that isn't driving away a portion of the playerbase. Which I have sympathy for, I've actually gotten bored winning 95%+ of the games I play in, and I know that isn't just because I'm so awesome. Either a lowering of HP needs to happen ASAP to make MoN less overpowered, or we need to temporarily remove their capping ability, so we can't field a team where 1/2 of our players are both OP and able to cap points. Either solution would be fine at this point, and put the class population balance back into a normal place, but something needs to be done and hopefully soon because it's killing the game in my opinion because right now SM players have to choose between classes that they can hope to compete with MoN with, or classes that can actually capture points once those fights are over. Even if you're playing Chaos and think everything is fine, you can't be blind to the fact that you are now winning 75%+ of the time, and no, everyone in the entire faction didn't just become amazing. If you actually still want to have SM players to push around, you should be invested in finding a solution that keeps them around playing the game, right now with how often they are losing I can't imagine it being much fun right now, as even I'm getting bored winning all the time.
It has been proven that d-bash does NOTHING against Nurgles. http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/video-proof-what-is-wrong-with-melee-bug-or-feature.53187/ Read that post if you care. Your statement that d-bash is fine makes me think you've never actually played against a Nurgle or know how d-bash is suppose to work. It is universally KNOWN even by developers that d-bash is NOT working properly so I have no idea how you think d-bash is working fine.
