Hello everyone, name's Asurael (mix of Asurmen and Azrael), old member of the eldaronline forums (where I was called Tethesis, who was brother to Asurmen), so shoutout to all EO members. I'm long time fan and player of 40K, been playing Eldar since I was around 16 years old, so that gives me more than 10 years of leading my Eldar to their untimely deaths xD. And with the release of the 5th Edition Dark Eldar they have also joined my ranks, so when playing against me you can expect Eldar lies up the wazoo! Like many of you I've been waiting for an MMO for the 40K universe for waaay too long, and I'm glad to see the day is finally approaching. I remember seeing the trailer for this game about a year ago (if not more), and it actually seemed underwhelming, even keeping in mind that if was very very alpha stage, but what little was known hinted towards a classic WoW-style MMO, which I didn't think would fit the IP of WH40K. Thankfully, the good people behind Eternal Crusade thought so too, and based on their latest video, I see they're taking notes from one of my favorite games, Space Marine. Who knew a game like that could be made on the scale of an MMO? Here's hoping it works out as good as expected (and better), I pretend to stick around at the very least 'till launch day in late 2015, so start getting used to seeing my name on the forums xD.
And the Eldar players were worried about being outnumbered. Welcome to the Forums, hope you enjoy your stay. The Basilica of Torments is down the road if you plan on surrendering, and the cafeteria gives out free pizza on Fridays. Be looking forward to taking your skull.
Greetings and welcome fellow! Prepare yourself for the upcoming war and take arm while your kinsmen are doing the same. We shall bring death to our enemies and make the victory that has been foreseen of ours true ! See you on the battlefield !
Hahaha, I love the "in-character" writing of 40K forums xD. By the way, to all my Eldar Allies, I've always been a Biel-Tan craftworlder, so the path of war is one I'm particularly fond of. And mister Berserker, I might visit the The Basilica of Torments you mention, but I hope you don't mind me taking along a couple of craftworlds to come along and try this pizza of yours, I hope it's as good as you say, they get cranky on an empty stomach.
Welcome! I could always introduce you to my garden. Like that friend yours that I have grown so very fond of.
