I can, "Full Metal PANIC" there are two seasons and if you come up against Full Metal Panic: FUMOFFO please skip it as it's a spin-off and it doesn't focus on mechs. Still, a lot of comedy in between the entire storyline, you'll love it .

I'm now caught up. -there are 8 episodes at the moment and ongoing -it is alot like Attack on Titan, except the humans are being more or less successful by using all manners of altered humans against a highly adaptable species called Gasterea. The Gasterea are being held back from the settlements by a ring of "Monoliths" made of the black-colored metal, Varanium, that repels almost all Gasterea. The humans use infected-born girls called "The Cursed Children" that have inhuman strength. These girls are paired with a Civil Officer that dictates their lives. Together, teams accept jobs set out by the government. Note: Yes, the girls look kinda like loli's, but don't let that fool you. Watch the first episode to make your decision. Although it's episode 4 that gets pretty intense fight-wise.
It's been a while since I watched it, but I don't think FMP is really a mecha anime. Of course there are mechas in it, but I don't remember them being the focus of the story. Also, Fumofu is the best part of the series.
