Just something special I thought needed calling it. It sadly does not. The Power Axe is actually costed the same as the Power Sword and Force Sword, leaving the Force Axe as the odd man out.

    That addressed, things of note.

    1. Power Fist - Yes I was quite hard on it. It's actually my favourite melee weapon for right now and I'm having a ball with it (30 kills and infinite busted tanks but it symbolises my current hate which is Raptor > GA in all forms.)

    2. Boon Of Change - Will be added to part 1.

    3. Extended Barrel - Despite what people think it's not actually the fall-off you should take it for although if it still has the noted side-effect is another thing. Apparently it negates horizontal recoil which is pretty impressive if it does. I'll be testing this out on UAT if I can find the box it's in.

    4. Combi-Bolter - We only have barrel mods.

    5. Part 2 - Will cover the rest of what we got. Marks, trinkets, grenades, kits, classes. The lot plus some of my closing thoughts so it's a biggie and may take a while or it could be done tonight, it depends how nice UAT is playing.

    6. Rogue One - Good show.

    7. Stream of Corruption - Everyone in this thread can come out and sing it's praises and I'll still damn it hellfire for an 11 second TTK with 6 being active locked in channeling. Fuck you, I'd take a Narth any day of the week.

I could see the Stream of Corruption buffed, but only with certain things taken away, specifically its aimbot nature.

So make it apply more poison but make it so its no longer a lockon spell, it should become a fire-hose of poison and bile that you just fire off and drag along where you want it to go. Its AoE effect gets turned into a "splash on target" kinda AoE, so everyone in the vicinity of where the bile beam is actually hitting starts getting poisoned.

Then you add a little balance layer on it for boosted/diminishing returns. Based on how far the enemy is the SoC would apply more or less poison per second. On its current maximum range it would apply the least, at medium range it would apply it decently faster (faster then it does currently for sure) and at close range it would be stacking the poison at the fastest rate. This way it also becomes something you can use in close quarter combat, something you cannot currently do effectively with the SoC. One thing i dont want touched though, is its range. I dont like the SoC the most of all the psychic powers just because its Nurgle, but also because its the only spell that actually lets you effectively sit behind your allies and engage in supporting, something the likes of the Lash of Slaanesh (too small a range) and the Flickering Fire (too inaccurate at range) cannot offer.

    Thoughts?

I would like to see Slaanesh sorcerers being more geared towards buffing their team mates rather than being offensive, Nurgle and Tzeentch already have that covered.

I can already see the spamming... a few sorcs walk into the room and just start spewing bile everywhere, now everyone is poisoned. The only way I could see that not being horrendously unbalanced is if it inflicted damage to teammates as well so you don't end up with a bunch of sorcerers just firing indiscriminately into a melee for guaranteed kills.

I guess that could be an issue, but then isnt the Stream of Corruption already fired indiscriminately right now, considering it does no FF?
  7. Illuminatus Dominus_Galaxia Arkhona Vanguard

Yes, but the lock-on makes it more difficult for a single sorcerer to end up poisoning a whole squad. They have to focus on a single target to get the maximum effect of SoC. If you remove the lock-on and essentially turn it into a snotty flamethrower, then I could see it becoming a problem trying to fight Chaos in close quarters unless poison damage was reduced and/or friendly fire was added as well.

Well, the way it currently works is that the primary target is getting poisoned for the maximum application rate, while the secondary chained targets are getting much less applied to them.

If you translate the same mechanic to the new AoE "splash" there would be little difference imo. You would still have to target a single individual if you want them dead fast (this time actually target rather then aimbot) and the secondary targets would still be getting diminished application.

I think 'offensive' is rather a strong word for either disciplines. Stream of Corruption is easily nullified by healing or even just a plasma pistol to the face, flickering fire is a weaker bolt pistol with a mild blaze effect. Lash of Slaanesh is the only truly dangerous Sorcerer power available at the moment, but it's also a skill shot that takes extensive practice to use.

Daemonbolt is Daemonbolt, which is to say, laughable.

Though personally I like that Slaanesh focuses on amplifying pain in both hysterical frenzy and lash, it fits the theme and the debuffing is just as good if not better then slapping a benediction on a ground assault.

What's this about half damage from poison for vets? Is this applying to other ailments? What did I miss?

I think rather than try to reinvent the ranged sorc, the better/easier solution is to fix flickering fire/SoC in terms of DPS and warp charge.
