Allright... after playing some Eldar now, i see why they are considered "overpowered" I mean, there are some game bugs or bad tuning, no discussion. But they litterally got all the tools in their default loadouts to be effective. Fire Dragons -> Anti Vehicle for example. So, we need basic Weapons. How about this model? At the start, you have nothing (Like now) But whenever you unlock a mastery, you also get that Weapon. BUT only the standart weapon and no weaponmods. The special Weapons are unlocked via Chest. So you can still have your fun picking loot, but don't have to if you want to support your team. How does that sound? I mean, the RNG system wont go away, even if i wish it would go to hell. But that would be a deal i could imagine would work... What do you think? Any other ideas?
I'm pretty sure someone's mentioned having AT weapons in the preset loadouts for every faction. That seemed like a pretty good idea if the current system of unlocking them is staying.
This is a hard topic, because while Its a struggle to fight without a lascannon or melta gun at the same time it means the newbie players will be the typical foot soldiers. We'll struggle for the first week or two not having proper weapons but after a week or two we will probably have these weapons en masse. I like the idea of unlocking a basic version of the weapon though the advancement tree. Especially since you have to buy all the weapons in order to get to anything really good. like Veteran Classes and good wargear.
