I don't see what the big deal is? This partnership only means that the devs get free/cheap Alienware PC and at major events (such as the upcoming E3) EC will probably displayed on Alienware products as well. It's as much publicity for Alienware as it is for EC.

If you want to play EC and are unable to build yourself a computer, buy an Alienware laptop! and you'd know it would run the game since it would have been demo'd on.

  2. A chainsword keyboard can only type ONE thing: "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! FINGERS FOR THE FINGERS THRONE!"
    ... well I guess that's in capslock.

  3. That makes sense, I think the only time Behaviour withholds information is due to other company involvement and it's either because that other company requested it, OR for legal reasons. Not because they are trying to hide anything from us, quiet the opposite.

  5. I think an alienware sponsorship is awesome. Additional money into this project means a longer development cycle and should lead to a better product. I can hope anyways.

"you play on my laptop my alienware laptop"
    is basically this, product placement.
the deal is that when they show EC they show played on an alienware pc.
We can suppose also that at E3 the game is showed to press on an alienware pc.

Don't matter what the price tag is if the equipment gets given to them to use. And lets face their pc/laptops are pretty nice to look at ;-)

I'm on my fourth one and love it. Ive built my own and if you're on a budget its still better to do so... but you can get scratch and dents off the factory site if you check frequently. Never had a prob with any AW either before or after Dell.

Meaningless in terms of what the game will be.

Apple of gaming wont be able to ruin nothing.
  10. And this benefits us..how? o_O
