It was almost time for the game to launch, and thus a good time for them to leave, go home, and set up their dive gear so they can log in the second it launches. Tonight was gonna be the start of a LONG marathon, with breaks for food and a few hours of sleep.
~~ At Wolfgang's Place ~~ @Casavay He elbowed her playfully as both monitors showed the countdown for launch. Since many games these days were online multiplayer only, there were two systems setup right next to one another. And with Virtual Reality it would matter little anyway. But being an old-school gamer, the German simply enjoyed to know that someone was next to him, even though they played online, it was just more social, cooler, more enjoyable. Reminding him of his 4-player super smash bros. times as a child. "Excited?! I know I am!"
At Wolfgang's Place @Uriel1339 Percey smiled at the young man's excitement. She was not a gamer of his calibre, but did enjoy video games from time to time - and could in fact get excited about them too. And so she was able to appreciate and even share his feelings. Even if their physical bodies would quickly become irrelevant, knowing him close at this moment would be more than nice. The girl grabbed his hand, the other examining the complex piece of technology they'd use to dive by touch. "Me too, but having you - and Lucy and Allie - along for the ride makes it so much better."
With a smile he gave her a quick kiss on the head. "It sure makes it better! Playing alone is only if you want to escape reality for a good while in another world, you know. Like just enjoying an awesome narrative, taking in the scenes of foreign worlds. But games like this - you just need a group for them to enjoy them fully. So I am rather glad to have found you lot when I came here!" Wolfgang smiled from cheek to cheek.
"And I'm happy you found us", Percy replied simply. There was not much need for further words - the two had been a couple for quite some time now, and to the cerulean haired physician-assistant-to-be, it felt as if they were two halves of the same soul. She ceased fiddling with the devices, just looking away, at the floor, waiting for the last few moments they would spend as a real life romance to pass.
"Well this should be fun" as she spoke lucy sat in her comfy chair with her set up ready and her smile beamed on her face "just you wait il be back to adventuring soon"
Once back at her place, Alicia laid in her small bed so that she could start getting into a comfy positon while busy setting up her dive gear for the game with Wolfgang and co. After all, being in virtual reality was not a reason to leave her real body in a uncomfortable state while her mind was busy else where!

Spoiler ~~GROUPING UP!~~ They find themselves in the central plaza, completely alone except for the four of them. It seemed that they were the most eager of the beta testers, as by the time they had grouped up and gathered at the Mission Board, new players had just began to arrive from the tutorial mission. ~~FIRST MISSION~~ The Mission Board had, as usual, a mission for each Time. They had yet to level enough to unlock free-hunt, but they were still spoiled for choice given the openness of each timezone. ~~Login~~ Typing up login in info in a normal MMORPG was just tiring and boring, but Alicia was of the opinion that the ethereal thing was somewhat better than a normal screen. With the username of ChemicalTech (After her favorite subject, of course!) and the password of CuSiBa59, Allie was soon in. ~~Character Creation~~ She didn't even have to make spend a single second making the decision to bring back her old character, as if it isn't completely broke, then ya don't need to fix it. For a starting weapon, she picked a pistol with a laser pistol skin as well why play around with a bullet based skin when energy/magnetic/any other future thing weapons were well.... the Future! She also kept her Sci-fi armour skin for the same reason. Being given the choice for being a Chosen, she simply chose no as she wanted to not suffer perma-death if she hadn't been rezzed in a fight. ~~Mission Picking Time!~~ After arriving at the mission board with everyone else, Ternix took a moment to consider the jobs on offer and ultimately decided on the Bronze Age mission as a quick and easy way to break back into the game, after all she was a little rusty on gameplay. So she said to the others "Perhaps we pick up the quick boss-hunt mission in the Bronze Age, after all I think we all need some time to get back into the swing of things."
