"COWARD! GET BACK HERE!" Wolfgang, well his avatar, roared in his very deep and super manly voice. As he ran, he shot for the legs of the creature - thinking perhaps it may have a weak spot? Man what would he give for his beta-skill 'X-Vision' which had allowed him to actually see weakspots and hidden treasures! But oh well - judgment had to do for now!
< @lord-watchman @Maleth @Casavay @Uriel1339 > With all thoughts of defense or attack gone, Ternix's laser piercing it's chest as Aosidhe's bolt impacts its shoulder. The final blow, however, comes from Blizzard Wolf, his expertly aimed bolt ripping through its knees, making it fall to the ground. "Damn you!" It roars, the tentacles slipping off and scuttering about the tavern, looking for escape. "You won't win, Agents... you are too late to stop us..." [1 Mimic Temporal (Elite - Level 5 / HP - CRITICAL)] [ @Uriel1339 - Finish Him (or try and interrogate him)] [ @Casavay @Maleth @lord-watchman - Feel free to hunt down the tentacles] [Luca Wounds - Broken arm (M)] [Ternix Wounds - Pierced Chest (LM)] [Aosidhe - Drone on Cooldown (4)]
Present of mind, the Fae enchantress noticed the flight of the tentacles, and immediately moved to stop the closest. Raising her staff high, she took it into both hands and jabbed it at the floor, intent on crushing them and unwilling to touch them with her body directly. But of course, mentally, she was already in full victory celebration mode. Spoiler OOC: Chaos' version sounds more epic, elegant, and classy, guys.
With the Temporal pretty much dead, Ternix was ready to start celebrate the team's victory but given that it was just the first enemy that they had beaten up since the beta..... The Sci-fi trooper felt it was a bit premature to start the victory dancing just now, instead going after the tentacles that were left with her pistol and knife. But still, Alicia was rejoicing at having finally done something useful!
The Blizzard Wolf walked up now all calmly and cool up to the Temporalis-monster, expanding his wings to look even more majestic. "We are time travellers, we are never late." He shot with his massive crossbow right into the head of the creature and then moved back to the rest of the group. With his 'moment of absolute coolness' over, he asked. "Sooooo anyone an idea where, who, or what is going to be assassinated?"
With Ternix still tentacle hunting, she still had time to respond to Blizzard wolf with "Duh, a Prince! So that means we gotta start looking elsewhere for him!" With that said.... she still had no clue where the prince could be. If only her appearance didn't make people in the Feudal age think she was a demon so she could ask a few questions.... Then again, part of the fun was scaring them silly so that they told her what she needed!
"Wolfie", Aosidhe purred, "Did you already forget about the note? I mean, probably a setup, but 'abandoned house at midnight' seems a clear and obvious lead."
"Note? I remember fighting this big guy!" He grinned from cheek to cheek. By now they should know him as the 'I kill stuff, I already think enough in the real world' kind of guy. "Ah anyway, lead the way, just leave the biggest and meanest to me."
"Anyone got an idea how to spend the day? Investigation ideas?", asked the brunette in leaving. So this was the first enemy since beta, and it all felt so familiar. Not that it was a bad thing; no, ths was a good familiarity, a pleasant sense of home within gaming.
With Persy asking for ideas, the ranged said "Well, perhaps we go on to another town and perhaps ask around for a missing prince?" She was somewhat irritated that she was having to reiterate her statement for the sake of everyone else, which clouded over any fun she might have been having taking down that enemy.
