Having checked the vox-towers and their hydraulic platforms for the seventeenth time to ensure they work properly and with maximum efficiency, Erin the blonde was satisfied that various calibrations in the mechanics as well as various rituals allowed the vox-towers to operate just as expected, with only a +/- rate of 1% which appears to depend on environmental conditions so far. Luckily the minerals within the rocks, nor the clouds or composition of air so far was interfering with the electrical signals. Then again they have not endured sandstorms, blizzards, hails, tsunamis, tornados or other possible extreme conditions, and to have not a true analysis of all those possible changes in weather nor their signs in this alien world was... Troubling to say the least. Luckily his mind was taken back into the here-and-now when receiving a ping from the leader of the facility. Fixing his robes by dusting them off and putting his tools away, accompanied by a thoughtful prayer, near the primary vox tower he got on his way.

After roughly five minutes of a hastily enough walk to create little drops of sweat on his scalp he presented himself to Isidra with a bow, words being hopefully unnecessary as he was catching a breath. So much for believing it was a short-cut to take the second right in the south hallway...

The Skitarii/Crimson Guard was patrolling what would be the perimeter of their facilities as it stands. Every now and then he would place a marker at what would be good sentry points. While he was doing this he also had a dataslate where he was marking down schedules and procedures to establish a good base security and checks to account for anomalies.

Steele was with several storm troopers as they checked in for the second time from paroling the perimeter helping make sure nothing was able to get in he was satisfied to a degree of how things were going. no one so far had been killed from local flaura or fauna and they were establishing a underground base already. Along with the vox tower coming online.

Checking his vox as he received a update from Isirdia with current base structure online. "Fyre you stay here I shall go check on one of our other magos who's completed there tasks. Heading out he decided to walk to meet Isirda as he activated his datalink and sent a quick reply he would be headed her way.

Judarius was busying himself in the laboratory when the Magos' transmission was processed through his noospheric filters. He had not wished to be disturbed by trivial matters, but the Lady Magos' message was permitted entry through his dizzying array of data-intercepts.

He glanced at the summons contents before deleting it. She desired to have the staff members consume nutrients within mutual proximity. A rather mundane and pointless exercise, as far as he was concerned. He'd have much preferred to carry on working, but such social gatherings could provide fruitful insight. That and he was not one to refuse the requests of his superiors. It would set a negative precedent and Judarius did not wish to draw unnecessary attention to himself.

No he would attend, as much as he would loath the experience. Saving his work, Judarius returned his cogitator to a standby state, securing it with numerous encryption algorithms to prevent prying eyes from seeing his work. Not that his findings were of any interest, merely reports on the chemical make up of the gelatinous material retrieved from the pools above them, soil consistency reports and geological survey exerts. Individually useless and mundane, but together they assembled a rather complex cross section of the last several centuries of geological history.

He needed to study the data further, but given enough time, there was a chance he might find something of use. Until then, he would continue to play his part and keep his options open.

As he scuttled through the containment corridor that separated the laboratory from the rest of the complex beyond, Judarius steeled himself as he mustered the fortitude necessary to survive the meal to come.

Sir Law having completed his self appointed task, though he was wary of it working due to the factions already appearing within the group, he headed to have lunch with his boss as requested. It was odd for requests, since his last serveral masters just ordered what they wanted. Using his rank with the Skitarii he knew he asked them to keep an eye on the Mars Skitarii and the Inquisition Stormtroopers. They were unknown armed elements making security harder. The others at least had their roles and left him to the guard schedules.

  6. After around half an hour the entire group met at the designated location with in the base that the less technological of the outpost personal called the mess hall. The room was rather large do to the shear size of the facility and the amount of personal that required food more often then the mechanicus personnel. They all sat at a table in the back of the room as to not be disturbed by the near constant entering an leaving Servitors and non Mechanics personal.

76 moved to the others and spoke before the others "if wnyone trys to send me on a food run all you will get is hydrolic fluid" with that he reversed next to the table

Isidra was pleased that the group had met within acceptable parameters and was confident of creating a shared procedure for effective exploration. Given initial data, she suspected that the planet held many more assets than the primary objective, but as such it must remain. The Omnissiah wills.

"Thank you for swift compliance to my request," she said, taking up a data slate and activating a small projector unit. Holovisuals played over the plain rockcrete surface of the wall opposite her seat as she spoke, showing data and associated extrapolations.

"To restate for the records:" a small data recorder whirred in the background as she spoke, capturing the data and the discussion as part of mission records, "we have achieved our initial goal of setting up a secure base of operations with 85% efficiency. Under projected tolerances, this represents a deduction from the initial timeframe of 1.5 standard Martian days, a gain of 12.34% from local material supply resulting in a saving of extra-planetary resources of 3.46% and no loss of expendable personnel." Isidra noted an elevation in the activation of positive neural pathways as she spoke.

"Initial exogeosurveys have provided us with data on the surface, but we have yet to locate likely locations for the vault and the STC. However, we have several promising leads - sites which I have defined as possessing a greater than 45% probability of containing a suitable location. Further, I believe that if we concentrate our efforts on those with a statistically high chance of containing our target - those of 76% and higher - we will utilise our resources in the most efficient fashion."

"Here," she enthused, two of her mechadendrites opening out a copy of the map of the planet they had been given, and passing it to 76, "76 please hold this at an angle of 92 degrees to the horizontal," she instructed, and the holovisuals overlaid the map with her chosen areas.

"Of all the targets, this one," she indicated with a red laser sight, "shows the greatest correlation."

76 complied and held the map as carefully with his one hydrolic claw at the said angle "well anything else my lady"

"Not at present, 76, thank you. Though you will be tasked to go with the main mission," Isidra responded.
