I suspect you are unfamiliar with the methods of the Ordo Hereticus. Knowledge brings truth. But before the holy fire may burn away impurity, the impious must reveal themselves. To whom are their revelations likeliest to be granted? To a grizzled Inquisitor clanking about in his power armor? Or a cheerful but harmless-seeming "cleaning maid?" What is uncovered by a whisk broom may still bring planetary bombardment. It was time for the veil to be lifted anyway, as I have quite enough now for twenty reports on this chapter hall. My findings will be delivered shortly.
I hope we get a passing grade, last time you guys tried to visit the Wolves things didn't go quite well.
REPORT TO THE ORDO MILITUMDate: 999.M41 To: Grand Inquisitor Remus From: Cembrye Ashari, Seraphim, Order of Our Martyred Lady Regarding: Examination of Adeptus Astartes Chapter Hall SUMMARY OF FINDINGS Manifest irregularities indicate need for Levels One and Two measures in most instances and Level Three in one instance. An Inquisitor should be assigned full time to this site. Exterminatus not recommended at this time. EXAMINATION METHODOLOGY Arrived on site without incident. Adopted Tactic 42.7, guise of a harmless naif, based upon prior intelligence that subjects would be likelier to reveal their true beliefs to someone they felt inferior or comedic. FINDINGS This Chapter Hall is unique in that it is located in a sprawling complex in a sector of space widely accessible not only to all Adeptus Astartes Chapters, but to beings of every kind. No single chapter manages the building complex, but it appears that the “Vylka Fenryka” or Space Wolves Chapter has attained a sort of unofficial leadership here. Indeed, wolves (and their droppings), wolf-pelts, and other lupine relics are found everywhere. Not many were present during my examination, but members of the Dark Angels, Blood Angels and Ultramarines were also observed. The Adeptus Astartes encountered evidenced no taint and in fact many admirable qualities. However some made statements and expressed attitudes towards the Ministorum in general, and the Adepta Sororitas in particular, that require action. I recommend Level One measures (sensitivity training, re-education in Imperial history, etc.) and these are summarized in the appendix. Severe and escalating problems were found however in parts of the complex that require a Level Two response. Followers of the Dark Gods - especially the Thousand Sons - have taken up residence in several annexes, from whence they are open and notorious in their disdain for the Blessed Emperor and His servants. Warp creatures were not encountered. Recommend dispatch of reinforcements from the four Adeptus Astartes Chapters already in residence. A Level Three response is required regarding a particular individual named Araghast the Pillager. It is unclear whether he is alone or backed by followers. However, on the Draco Scale of 1-10 rating for “Use of Spiky Bits on Armor,” Araghast rates an 8. As you know, Level Three is mandatory when Draco Scale exceeds 5. Recommend initial response by the Officio Assassinorum using an Eversor if one is available, with a team of Deathwatch Space Marines for rapid response if (as likely) the situation escalates. SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS The impurity present has not spread beyond isolated corners of the facility and can be dealt with through a combination of local measures and Level One and Two Responses, with the exception noted above for one individual requiring Level Three. No xenos or warp beings were noted, but follow up should remain vigilant. The facility should remain open for two reasons. First, the loyal presence remains robust. Second, open access may continue to draw miscreants into the open where they can be identified and dealt with. This completes my report. As my term of secondment to the Ordo Militum has been completed, I request reassignment to my unit of Seraphim. Blessings of the Emperor, may His Light sustain us through the darkness…
I don't think we need to announce our selves here. My words have already been forgotten. The memory of loyalist is always short.
