Additional Basic Class?

I stand by my point: the cost of the bike itself has to come from somewhere and the flip side of "non-spears can't into bike" is that "spears can't into foot", the only logical solution to those problems is to have the bike be paid for with Slates, or whatever other currency is used to spawn them.

I think he was refering to elite classes....not a basic one thats it termies and rtp equivalents

I think Bone Singer is what you're looking for, but I'm just going from what I remember playing Dawn of War.

Still, I hope mech classes do make an appearance at some point. Can't wait to get me orky hands on a Kustom Mega Blasta >:3

As stated literally one line after, Bonesinger is an option... However they aren't really a combat effective unit in the way the other 3 known choices are. TMK spiritseers are a much more likely canidate if GW lets them.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i've been under impression that we're getting 4 new standard classes (Possessed, Ranger, Kommando and sorry cant remember the LSM one), who will also be getting special RTC skins for their Vet(Elite) loadouts OR will get actual RTC loadouts with their own skins, kinda like bundles, that wasn't clearly explained.
    While TEQs will remain Elite-only.

Everything you mentioned is confirmed or speculated Elites.

IF there will be a new base class for every faction, it'll be a mechanic-type class for vehicle and TEQ maintenance, as a preparation for the upcoming vehicle focused map and TEQ introduction.
Otherwise, IF it's a literal single new base class, it can only be another type of Aspect Warrior for the Eldar, which almost certainly means Warp Spiders(I'd personally prefer Shadow Specters).

You keep saying that bonesingers aren't a good combat choice.

It's an elven bard that looks awesome. Nothing more needs be said.

Would mek classes have capture keys? It seems a little silly that they wouldn't. Support/utility class with capping... I'd take a loss on killing power for that.

Thats because tmk they don't exist on any level other than essentially a construction specialist. Like Eldar version of Engineer - the kind that's an artisan of a craft that's not on a path of the warrior.

They aren't in the codexes. I even tried looking him up from GW. Not saying he can't be, it's just irregular.

Maybe there's a few from the books. Ill keep looking.

Inconclusive, but they seem more like workers than warriors by this account:

No man (yes I assume gender), you're totally right. There are no table top rules, and I think the only novel lore is in Path of the Seer as the main character's father. It's a completely undeveloped part of Eldar, and that really stems from them being an artisan path, not an aspect warrior. DoW has them, but I hate the lore violation of those games, so let's not talk about that (hypocrisy I know). The miniature is a limited edition for something or other.

But they are there, and they are cool, and I don't think it would break any lore nerd's heart to see them in EC. It's not like Eldar don't use civilians in battle (a la guardian). And... It just seems so balls to the rock cool to be playing an elf bard in Wh40k. I want to square up to a noise marine with one and be like, "what'cha got?" before I sing a soft melody and shoot frantically with my crappy pistol hoping a banshee comes out nowhere to save me.

Eldar=hard mode. Bonesinger=legendary. Don't tell me you don't want to lead a MYST raid composed entirely of singing elves just for the lulz.

Just give them a pistol and knife only when on foot. The lance is only active on the bike.

Bonesingers don't carry weapons, not even a knife. That's why they would be a bad choice. They would need to be OP at repairing to make up for their lack of combat.

Also, they could heal armour on Eldar, since they can do that :p
