Dats enuff words ye grot, ye get it now or iz ye 'ead too bashed in? Dred da kommandos, and get on provin' yer flashy skillz! [ACES] Da Ace Kommandos This is an ork guild operating under some different specifications than other guilds. First off, we're a strategy-oriented guild, keeping a private discussion page where we discuss and share tactics for how to win in each possible scenario. Each of our members are considered equal and each of us learn from one another how to help the team win in any given situation. This goes far beyond clumping up in a big group running from point to point. Second, [ACES] is a guild not open to the general public. It's an elite guild, and while we're still light-hearted and in it for having fun, we aim to ensure that each member is a good ork player. The general idea is that when PUGS see one of the [ACES], they know that here is someone that can help swing the battle in their favor by being in the right place, helping PUGS out and killing loads of enemies. This is markedly different from the current guilds where their tags don't mean much. The more [ACES] the better chance of winning, and a squad of them will be terrifying. That said, we'll never be a mass guild and aim to have a close-knit group of orkz being about a dozen total maximum. How to join [ACES] Da Ace Kommandos: We'll reach out to players with consistent good play, but you can also show off screenshots of when you topped the scoreboard or did something suitably flashy. We'll play with you a match or two at least to see if you're as flashy as you think you are! Above all we hope that you're not rude to your fellow players, ally or enemy, and have a willingness to be better than you already are. We will aim to have one event a week or so.
I really like the idea of this guild, I most often top the scoreboard and have played in the same game with a few ACES before and I must say I had to fight for the first place with the ACES members. I would gladly show that I am a fitting member for you. Playing mostly slugga/shoota/loota depending on what's needed. I feel like you missed an opportunity to name yourselves Da Ace Kommando Army and then have an excuse to have the tag [DAKA]. Good luck to you guys!
The original intent, foiled by someone having already grabbed that letter combination for his own inactive 1 man guild. --- We're currently 6 members, I mean, proppa nobz. Warboss Sickytoof: Loota and Shoota specialist, brainy! Skarshak Zogeye: Shoota specialist, real tuff! Flopped: Stormboy specialist, iz everywhere! Madboy Jawrippa: Loota specialist, half da brain, double da dakka! Whynob: Shoota specialist, painted red so iz fasta than you! Gobosmasha: Loota and Shoota specialist, make things go boom! @Thrakka has invited us to play on a youtube match, and we should take an opportunity like that to showcase our presence more to the community sometime soon (as well as maybe play a bit more with DLB in general). We're out there helping people get better, and leading the way by example for the PUGS. If we ever approach 10 members, we'll have to slog it out to find who's hard and and who's not so hard!
