Cause ork tech is actually new/freshly made. Chaos hasn't had anything "new" since 30k. :p

Huh... this thread is... wtf is this?

No seriously, did you guys forget that the autocanon from chaos is a go get gun, i got mine with 6 matches(when i was a free player) while the ace dakka is a grindy one to get, sure you can just go ahead and buy the 12k straight out of your matches, but there is a chance of getting loot of inferior boxes meaning you want to get all loot from 500 and 3k boxes 1st, including at least i dont know.... half the 12k boxes? that is quite a bit of req to get, even if you paid 20 bucks youre still going to have to play a bit, if you do boy all 500 and 3k boxes is about 70k req im fairly sure(not the exact number, but its around there) and on the 12k boxes there is 20 items, so say you had to buy 10 of those and your 10th was the ace dakka, thats a total of 190k req spent(if youre lucky it will be 200k+)

Now of course you can just get lucky and buy a single 12k box without buying previous one as getting the ace dakka 1st try, but even so i just really dont get it because its a comparison betwen a unique gun and a common one, do you understand what im trying to say here? its like comparing that 500k power sword everyone have a version of with the stock melee weapon and saying it is OP because of the 5% regen EVEN THO you gotta pay 500k for it

Certain guns work like that because there is a thing called "superior gear", it encourages you to upgrade and test diferent weapons(that was sarcasm if you did not get it) but my biggest point here is, if a unique gun like the ace dakka lose its uniqueness(wich is the supresion, mechanic wise its pretty much the autocanon, at least i dont feel the diference at all and i play with both guns in a regular basis, only diference i found is that when vs eldar autocanon OHK easier than ace dakka with headshots)then it becomes a common weapon BUT if it becomes a common weapon, why would you need to get it from boxes? it makes no sense, it should be added on the market then for 16k right?

And if i messed up something or im sounding biased please show it to me, ill try to explain myself better, lets try to keep it civilized(suposing it still is lol)

It's already been stated that "hard to get" is not a valid balancing concern.

Also, common weapons are in crates. Yeah, they're weapon skins, but because of them being in crates, I haven't bought a single weapon from the store.

Fair enough, i guess eventually everyone gets endgame gear, but even so i still think its fine because its a unique weapon as i said above, if it doesnt have the unique feature, it should not be in the boxes then, or maybe it should? i dont feel the diference between AC and AD(what im saying is that even tho numbers were given, in the heat of battle you dont care for 0.45 less something, all you care for is landing 4 shots)

Removing the suppression is definitely not the ideal solution. Honestly, the more I've been looking at this, I think the issue may be the incredibly low SIPS (Spread Increase Per Shot). It's literally 80% less than the normal AutoCannon. A) a more accurate gun for orks makes no sense and B) you can fire some disturbingly accurate shots on full-auto. I think if the SIPS was kicked up to about 2° like the AutoCannon, it'd be a pretty balanced gun.

Yep i gotta agree on this one, i lost count of 2 hit kills with headshots with the ace dakka, on fortress maps its kinda fucked tbh because its like youre using a stalker bolter but with way more damage, doesnt feel like i should be able to snipe so well with something all orky like

So... I broke 10k points in one map. I think I know where so many of these points are coming from...
So often I'm able to down enemies quickly (with at most 4 hits) and generally from my vantage points, I can see enemy movement everywhere. I can draw a bead, kill someone, then move onto the next victim.

Because it's so easy, I can get kill streaks rather easily. Each time I get a kill while on a streak, it's an additional 30 points. Not to mention if it's a multi-kill, it's another 30 points. That means for most of my kills, I'm getting a 30% bonus and for some it's 60%. This adds up rapidly. So pretty much I'm not doing unbelievably amazing, but I'm being amply rewarded for my performance.

It's also worth noting that, while everyone considers the kannon OP as hell, I seem to be beating most (if not all) of the people who use the kannon. So.. make of that what you will...
