As the title states, I was wonder if we could eventually a smaller or slimmed down version of the backpacks that Raptors for chaos currently have. The reason why I am asking this, is because I noticed playing my LSM character that the jump pack on them is pretty much the same as it has almost always been. (here and there depending on the legion/chapter/successor chapter, its a bit different, like some having actual wing like jump packs, others just having blocks.) Personally myself, I would like for raptor jump packs to look like the one pictured in the attached file, the giant barrels attached to their backs just looks so out of place.
In this game devs are trying to use the current models of the units from TT game and the Raptor that you are showing is long time gone... There's one Chaos Lord with this jumppack available, but Idk if they'd add it to the game. I prefer the current jumppacks, but I think that they are too big in EC.
I don't play as jumppack classes so I don't know much about this, but yeah, I saw some that are riddiculously big ;/
Technically we have something similar with the max jump, jump pack however we'll be getting a better one in the future. We have the Old School Raptor helmet right now, and Noah at one point showed off a hint of the raptor legs on the EC General Discord once. Hopefully in the near future we'll be getting it.
Half of it is, and half of it isn't. And it bothers the hell out of me. The Legs look fantastic, all lightning crackle trim and all. It goes with the armor, and style of the rest of the trim. The shoulders are more reminiscent of the Raptor Armor we want, but doesn't go along with all of our sharp spikey edges that go for the rest of the Raptor Armor. And on top of that, don't have the same textures colors or shaders on them, and it bothers the living hell out of me.
