So just reading through the Ultramarines second omnibus (Courage and Honor) and I was just thinking about the reverence with which Space Marines regard their armor. I.e. The armor itself has a long list of history, victories of the warrior who wore them, etc. Space Marines have a very unique connection to their armor.

I wonder if we can somehow bring this across in EC. Some ideas:

Space Marines - have an armor biography
Chaos - similar or which greater daemon it was blessed by
Orks - who your armor was stolen/looted from
Eldar - Not entirely sure if they inherit armor

Was wondering if the devs have given this much thought.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say with this but i like the idea in general but can you please give a bit more detail on the way you would show it on the armor or how did you imagine it

Eldar most certainly do inherit armor. Aspect warriors keep their kit in their shrines, and pass it on when they switch paths.

This reminded me about a thread where someone was talking about doing the same thing but with weapon's some idea's was to use purity seal's to show a list of battles that they have been in and the other owner's.

Maybe using the purity seal's that way and in the loadout screen you can mouse over the armor to get a info popup on the differnt info / lore of that armor and other player's while in a social area other player's could look at your armor as well, And also maybe we can have a lore / codex that show's all the known player's and the armor that they have used along with other stat's like kill's and all that.

Im not sure what the suggestion here is ?

Just looking for ways to show the importance of armor to each of the races in the game. Its an aspect of the lore which would be very nice to see.
