Alright, I'm done. Hope it's alright.

    Name – Hildegard Lanzenfeld
    Race – Human
    Gender – Female
    Age – 29
Class – Apprentice Wizard of Beasts

    Traits

    • Scholastic Knowledge: Nature Having spent most of her youth and later life in a library or study of some sort, Hilde has acquired a large basis of knowledge, most of it being about animals and nature.
    • Sleight of Hand Hilde's frailness hides swift fingers. While she is no lockpick or pickpocket, her deft hands make her a skilled con and she has cheated many a drunkard out of their money, with card tricks being her particular favourite.
    • Can Read and Write Having had the money to afford a wizardry apprenticeship, Hilde has the ability to peruse texts as well as write them – a valued skill in a world like this.

    Flaws

    • Antisocial Perhaps her most obvious personality trait is that a combination of complete arrogance, vocalization and the lack of any filter makes Hilde a terrible liar (as it is the fate of those who can't think something without speaking it out loud), a terrible diplomat, and a terrible person to be around in general, if one takes her mumbled remarks about numb-skulled brain-dead ego-central monkeys to heart.
    • Hatred: Bretonnians Ever since she had an unfortunate brush-in with a questing knight of Bretonnia, the apprentice had an irrational hatred of the horse-loving people. This hatred does not give her any special powers, unless one considers prejudice a power.
    • Frailness Lack of sleep, exercise and eating have taken a toll on Hilde. She is physically very unfit, cannot run for long or hold a weapon comfortably, and is prone to falling into microsleep when she isn't completely focussed.

    Gear

    Robe
    Quarter Staff
Printed Book: Gartenbucher's Bestiary 2: Animals of Kislev and the Imperial West
    Deck of Cards
    Lead Coin

    Appearance

Hilde is a short person with pale skin and almost no substance – very thin and boney. Her blond hair is long and messy, her blue eyes generally glassed and deeply sunken in, embedded in dark lids.
  2. Your golden man nicely done
    Enginseer Midas likes this.
  3. Ok our first adventure is what I call the acid test venture or if you talk to my old pal Mr Porky just to make sure we don't kill each other test and its straight from the book its called THROUGH THE DRAKVALD. Will give the set up sometime today
  4. Untergrad was founded roughly 100 years ago. Villagers from the Griminhagen area, fed up with rhe oppresive taxes of Graf Sternhauer, packed up their belongings and headed south. The graf was furious, but he was also certain these malcontents would be swalloed up by the drakwald forest. The villagers followed the river south till they found a suitable spot for a settlement . They built a village on the west side of the river and scarbbled out a meager existence against all odds.More than that the village began to grow .The small settlement turned into a town, eventually expanding to the eastern side of the river . With supreme effort, the people of Untergrad dragged enough stone south to build a wide bridge to connect the two halves of town. Within two generationsbthe village of exiles had turned into a centre of local trade. The bridge was the only south crossing of Griminhagen and the town became a natural stopping point for trade barges coming up river.

This success had a price, however . When Archaon's forces invaded the Middenland, Untergrad and its bridge becamebcritically important. Khazrak, the most powetful Beastman warlord of the Drakwald and arch nemesis of Count Todbringer led a surpirse night time attack against Untetgrad. Khazrak's beastmen assailed the walls, broke inside, and completely overtan the eastern half of town. The defenders rallied at rhe bridge, however, and a nine day battle for Untergrad ensued. Thousands of Imperial troops and dwarf allies reinforced the town and the bridge became a scene of unbeliveable carnage. Stymied, Khazrak destroyed the eastern half of the town and took his forces north. The focus of the campaign soon shiffted to Middenheim herself and Untergrad seemed safe. Regiment after regiment was called away from Untergrad to strengthen imperial focres elsewhere.

The survivors began to rebuild. The eastern half of town was so throughly destroyed that it had to be temporarily abandoned. Untergrad naitivrs plus many refugees from even less fortunate settlements, went to work in the ruins. The task of burrying the dead took weeks and the rotting corpses causesd a contagion that further reduced the surivivor's menebers

The population of Untergrad is currently 75 people mostly peasants

How you come to be here is up for you guys to decide if you want to enter already knowing someone on the team please message them and give a decent explination as to how you know em and I had to transcribe that whole thing manually on my smartphone
  5. May I join? I've noticed due to a lack of Light Magic the group is currently... Susceptible to Magic and Daemons.

    Name: Elui Lecai
    Race: High Elf
    Gender: Male
    Age: 284
Class: Hysh Mage of Saphery (Journeyman Wizard of Light)

    Traits:

Magical Affinity: Elui has spent nearly 3 centuries obsessing over improving his magical talents, both overall and specifically on the Wind if Hysh, resulting in a powerful Light Mage even among High Elf standards.

Mental Superiority: Memory, Willpower, Intelligence. These three factors are essential for any aspiring High Elf Mage, and as a fully fledged Hysh caller of Saphery Elui has exercised these mental functions to an extreme.

Experienced in War: Spending well over a century hunting Daemons and Cults has it's effect on a person, whether Elf or not. Elui is skilled in offensive arts of Hysh magic and despite being a Mage is also a fairly capable warrior with his staff.

    Flaws:

Cold Hearted: Gone are the benevolent teachings of the High Elves, for constant contact with the worst Chaos has to offer has warped Elui's mind. He cares not for others or their pleas, only that his task is accomplished. Furthermore, anything with even the possibility of being corrupted must be purged, even if no solid evidence of Chaos corruption exists.

Obsessed: Elui is utterly obsessed with his knowledge of Magic and Chaos, to the point of being unhealthy. He will take any opportunity to improve his craft even at his own expense. This is not to say he is unintelligent in the matter, he knows what knowledge to avoid and will not risk corruption at the hands of Forbidden and dark lore.

Arrogant: Although he does not take pleasure or show cockiness, Elui as most other High Elves is very confident in his abilities, often seeing others as "lesser," beings who need guidance. The exceptions to this are Elves, who he sees as equals and Chaos, as he does not underestimate the raw power of his greatest enemy.

    Gear:

Runed Saphery Wood Staff (Hysh Iconography)
    Saphery forged Knife
    Robes of Hysh
Tome of the Lores of Hysh and Qhasyh
Magically sealed/bound tome of the Lore of Dhar

I understand that I may be Over Powered (it's hard to make a High Elf Mage that isn't very powerful), if there's anything you want me to tone down just tell me.

    Excellente! Post incoming!

IC: Harold wiped the sweat from his brow a moment, shovel stabbed deep into the earth as he looked to the most recently filled in grave. It had been an ugly affair reaching this sodding town and even uglier trying to survive the aftermath of the beastmens' attacks. Still he couldn't complain all that much between surviving the initial assaults and the following illness that had filled so many of these graves.

"Hildegard! How many bodies we got left for the day?" Calling out to his female compatriot the Badlander took up his shovel and shuffled over a few paces to begin digging up more earth; since arrival he had put himself to work, grateful to have a shot at some real food for once. This included a woman in her late twenties who had been accompanying him for some time before they were herded into the soon to be besieged town.
