    look they don't have to make the physical loot drop system the same as ones where you can get duplicates.

    profiting from impatience is the #1 source of shekels for a game like this. if you put some really juicy shit in the 50/100k boxes then people are gonna get impatient

    seriously how many millions a year does riot games make by just selling skins ..

    There is really no real gamble in EC!
    The only gamble is IF you buy the game, you might, or might not get what they advertise!!

    When it comes to boxes....almost everything is from crap to non relevant....
    If it weren't for tanks....this game right now could be only about bolters.....
    All other items are secondary, so no real gamble in opening boxes, when you know that nothing great will come out of it.
