Excuse me, but that is just rubbish. The game doesn't have a big portion of female players simply because it's not aimed to please the female audience. You sound a lot like Anita Sarkeesian, which is why I am not going to take this argument seriously.
That is one factor. Yet it would still have more if the playerbase was less ostracizing. Right now, it is also repulsing a number of female gamers whose interests are different from the average female audience, and compatible with 40k. I'm surprised you seem to have never heard of such incidents. I'm not debating that it would currently still be a minority, though. If that is your opinion, it's probably for the better, as it saves us a rather pointless cycle of arguments both of us already know and grew tired of.
It is certainly not that simple, although I actually do think that greater fault lies with GW than with the fanbase. However, the fanbase is not a factor in this that you can easily dismiss out of hand. If you're going to be honest and approach the matter intelligently, that is. Excuse me, what is that supposed to mean?
If you don't know who she is you can check it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anita_Sarkeesian If you do, I do not take her seriously because it has been proved again and again that her arguments are just wrong, and has been found lying and being a hypocrite many times. I consider her kickstarter to be a huge scam.
I know about her, although not in great enough detail to judge what's she's about. Either way, I don't see how this can be connected to what you've quoted above. Did you mean to say that women (or people in general) don't have the right to dislike or avoid games (or books, movies, plays, whatever) because they find a problem with them just because they sound like some feminist you don't seem to approve of?
Like what? Actually, forget it. I don't think this discussion would be productive at all. Probably not even fun.
Well then, I guess I won't have to constantly watch my back for my fellow CSMs. I know they may shoot me in the back at any time, but surprise *****uck is a whole other story.
