After using the s-word in a non aggressive manner in one of my own threads I was given a warning for doing the dirty even though it doesn't hurt anyone. But rules are rules or can the rules be changed if enough people want it? This poll will find out if the people want this policy changed or to keep it the same. Edit: Oh and the right to edit your poll choices to correct grammar mistakes.
I think there should be a filter that replaces the word with the appropriate 40k version of that curse word.
when speaking in a public chat obviously it could be a problem when you get your typical 12 year old playing but i don't see a problem with it if there is a squad chat. So pretty much what most online is now, if someone is being annoying, report em!
Seems like you should allow cursing but put a filter on it (which members can choose to remove or not). Circumventing the filter by putting in other characters such as "1, !" etc would be reason for a warning/ban/etc.
How dare the children be exposed to bad words in a game where you brutally kill other people! Add a option for a filter for those that want it. But I want to see cursing.
Easiest thing. Like in almost every other mmo, just have an optional filter turned on by default which you can turn off in options. Sometimes a derailed "fuck" not burns out my eyes, and sometimes in the thick of it its good to turn the obscenity off for sweet little stars. *.*
