I agree, btw. There is a reason why the Phoenix Lords NEVER hunted down even a single guardsman - it's not a coincidence to me, they simply avoid them out of fear. Remember how Karandras duelled with a commissar for seventeen days without a reprieve? Eventually Karandras wasnt able to prevail and retreated into shadows, leaving a commissar in a murderous rage which resulted in butchering his own guardsmen
What is more important is that I have read almost all of the wh40k books and havent seen a single case of the Phoenix Lords beating a servitor - does it mean that servitors are stronger than the Phoenix Lords? I mean any servitor, not only battle-designed, but even those fellows that haul cargoes from one stock to another
I read it all and boy was it a let down. Orks just big baddies, although interesting thing they did with the orks at the end not gonna say but it was not an orky thing. The imperium won no surprise there, there was a massive bomb dropped which involves a character from the Horus heresy. Which I personally loved. Really only good bit in the series. Apart from that it was an experiment interesting as it was, expect another series on another event in the 40k universe. I know gav Thorpe is trying to do all the elder Phoenix lords each per book around the time as the fall of elder / birth of slannesh.
Is this reminding anyone else of the katana in d20 meme? https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Katanas_are_Underpowered_in_d20
Never heard about it but I think there is a common point in several issues raised within this thread - primarily that few people have read almost all of the wh40k books and hence it's hard for us to know for sure who is stronger - insufficient amount of data. Although there are people who have read almost all of the wh40k books and there are those (but they are even fewer) who have read all of the wh40k books - perhaps the latter ones might contribute to our dispute? How many wh40k books one must read to know for sure whom the Phoenix Lords can beat and whom they cant?
Snotling. Because when ones fired through the warp ala Shokk Attack Gun, they slap Khorne on their way through, and their eagerness to escape the warp ASAP drives them crazy.
