But that is 100% legit, the Custodians could you know fight with Big E on Ullanor against some of the biggest if not the biggest ones ever and lose not a single one Custodes but facing two harlequins... They needed some Warlord Titans to help win that fight... I think Cegorach got a hold of the book and changed that bit around for shits and giggles...
Oh I thought it was hilarious tbh. When I posted it while reviewing the Beast arises series so many lsm fans were pissed. It was glorious. Btw I gave up after book 6 since the series was butcheri g any good story lines and characters it had and started devolving into bolter porn. Did anyone finish out the series? Did the orks ever actually get chara ters or development or did they just remain a vague big bad looming over the plot as a generic evil plot device?
Got to Book 10, Orks were just the big baddies. That was there only part in it so far. In Book 7 The Hunt For Vulkan they did change it around a little with them leading a war against the Orks and Vulkan just being the biggest downer to the point Curze or Corax would have brightened the mood. There was a warboss there or something and Vulkan fights it. It proceeds to laugh at Vulkan for how stupid he is for throwing himself away pretty much and they keep fighting... I'll one day finish off the series when I gain enough strength and read all the Heresy Novels as well as those Primarch Books and then some other 40k stuff...
The real question here should be: Could a Phoenix Lord defeat an Imperial Guardsman? I've read numerous 40k books and I think I can safely say that the Phoenix Lord would have no chance. The Imperial Guard has the strongest, smartest, fastest, and most badass soldiers in the universe. Nothing can compete.
