I have read almost all of the wh40k books and im confident that a Phoenix Lord could easily beat an ork Warboss in a 1v1 fight. A Phoenix Lord is swifter, smarter, and stronger. I would love to know what you guys think who would win.
Even as an Ork fanboy I'd have to agree, a Phoenix Lord could easily take down a standard Warboss. Of course a Phoenix Lord is essentially a demigod in it's own right, while new Warbosses rise and fall all the time in Ork society, so I honestly consider it a rather unfair comparison. An Exarch or Autarch might be a more even match for the Warboss.
Wonder how long it'll take for this one to be locked. Last to be hit is the Chaos section Phoenix Lord vs Daemon Prince I'm guessing? Maybe Phoenix Lord vs 1 of the Gods?
Ridiculous, the Phoenix Lord Jain Zar couldn't even beat a squad of under supplied and only decently combat effective Night Lords, no way she'e going toe to toe with a Warboss.
You know very well a Nob doesn't have a high enough Plot Armor Save. To beat a Daemon Prince you need a 1+ Plot Armour Save, Nobs have about a -2.
Kind of a weird comparrison really. Seeing as a warboss is weaker than a warlord. Plus the fact that an ork warlord could have all kinds of random things depending on the story. I mean how well would one pheonix lord do against the Beast or against the head ork the Emperor fought on Ulinor? What about a pheonix lord vs something like a necron lord? It all comes down to which one they're fighting and what their packing. Especially with orks since they can vary a lot.
