Well if true (And GW doesn't throw a hissy fit bout that) I guess the community will save the game..
Lookie lookie, I've stumbled upon this thread the very moment I've started talking to guildies how even I finally admit that EC is dead.
Anyway, I have lost the last sliver of hope for the game.
I'm here exclusively for Eldar and guild now.
If the game won't be dead by Q2 of 2018, I'll be surprised.
Too late woke up.
If they manage to put a workshop then the community will save the game , if not then it will be another disapointment and the death of the game and the last piece of hope for the ones who still think this game can live longer
Time to boot up Zbrush and Max
Its too late. Throw it there
Too late for devs to do anything aye, but you do realize that with a workshop and the stubborn 40k community, you'll easily improve the game.
Better give it one shot.
What other game are you gonna play that hasn't been overplayed?
Well, it did not saved DoW2 and they modded in completely different and new factions and altered existing ones.
Mods don't hold much value when it comes to multiplayer games, they are great for SP games like Fallout or Skyrim, but not really in MP, visual mods change nothing really and gameplay mods tend to turn off competitive players.
Dawn of war 2 didn't have a steam workshop.... Also Warframe's, Dota 2's, and a bunch of other games' steam workshops made a lot of money
