It's the Ork's OP trukk horn. The versatility of being able to honk a horn cannot be denied.

I have a theory pertaining to this happening on CSM. I think the overwhelming stupidity of LSM teams running around has given birth to a new Chaos God. I call him Derp.

Nah derp already exits mate it was born in the 2nd Melania in the far gone days of old.

    Well Sirs, Ladies
I have an answer for you. I can understand being one shotted by a lasconnen, missile launcher or any anti tank weapon. This I can understand, but not when I'm in a tank or on the opposite side of the building, tired of being told to stop whinging when the eldar can turn invisible and send the rhino off the map with a single hit. I hit an Orks with a charged plasma shot three times. He hit me with brass knuckles (full health, full armour) I died, one punch. or the eldar running straight at my (HB in a braced position) stripped his armour but couldn't touch his health. He actually stop in my fire and then killed me with a single shot. Nothing from the company to explain this when I formally point these out with screenshots etc.
As for working with the team it's pretty hard when you're being one shotted from the other side of the map from the Ork deployment zone.

i think it is because they have the space marine campaign mentality, where you played captain titus and slaughter hundreds if not thousands of orks and chaos daemons without breaking a sweat, and they wish to imitate it here

As somebody that just started playing a couple days ago I have to say that I think part of the issue for new players is not understanding that rank and gear trump skill if you do not also have the rank and gear to match. Making solo endeavors a death sentence for noobies. This game essentially has the worst part of MMO PvP combat without the rest of the MMO.

While I have enjoyed my play time so far it is despite the vertical advancement. I typically only PvP in settings where everyone is more or less on even footing. Games like Red Orchestra, Battlefield, even Planetside 2 where you may be outnumbered but gear is mostly equivalent across the board. I think the experience of a lot of people is probably similar so they come into this game not expecting such a disparity in power level between new and experienced players.

Plus, there have always been players in these games that just run off and do their own thing and the team be damned, because lulz.

Sadly that seems to be the case. It's odd since such mentality is actually more in tune with a CSM than a LSM. LSMs are tight-knit honorbound warriors who treat each other like brothers.

CSMs lose much of that camaraderie instead opting to look out for themselves and attain even more power and possibly immortality.

Eldar as a race are more united in purpose than the Imperium because they all know that they are likely not going to survive much longer.

Orks follow the simple rule of "Might makes Right." -> "The biggest and strongest Ork is boss. And if you don't like it you can talk to the complaint's department (his gun)

    Bullshit.

Skill trumps everything. There are people here that deleted and started over a new char several times. Paging @RemoSupremo

Do you honestly believe that a few days of playing is enough to make you play on even footing with veterans that have played this game for over a year? Ever heard of the Dunning Kruger effect?

    You are sadly very misguided.

The Bolter is as strong on a rank1 zero XP brand new character as it is on a rank6 full unlock character. The only thing you get through upgrades that changes things really is the CQC barrel which changes your TTK from 5-10 bolters shots to 4-9 its an improvement but there is a huge overlap where a bolter with or without will have a near identical TTK and that advantage however small it is comes at an obvious disadvantage of worse perfomance at range (though generally again still comparable.

Armor upgrades are nice and all, everyone uses them, but at the same time they don't have a huge impact. Either you are flanking and demolishing people or they are doing the same to you. When you win or lose its almost always about who aimed better, who got the drop on who, and stuff like that and very little to do what gear loadout they were using.

There are even some videos of people out there going out of their way to prove this by making a brand new character who just uses nothing but default unlocks and no upgrades and proceeds to do very well. They arn't winning because of unlocks, they are winning because of game knowledge and skill (some might argue those are the one and the same).

If you are are using more than 15 shots (aka half a default magazine) with your bolter to kill someone, YOUR SKILLS (or more accurately lack of them) is the problem, not unlocks. If you are always fighting enemies face first head on, again your gameplay is the problem not unlocks.
