Don't worry, literally everybody in LSM shoots us, Ultramarines, because they think we're Nightlords. I bought the red helmet and that was the biggest mistake I made in this game. It's sad when you kinda get used to be killed by your team. I knew I had to pick Imperial Fists, I f*cking knew it, but had to power ranger my team of 4 friends, silly my.
Today's matches were nothing but garbage. But I managed to grab a few shots of the skull affected by the changes.
It's the new Glossy Marines. Why GW hasn't come up with that yet (because it is obviously a shitty idea and likely a bug or mistake anyway, so exactly their pair of shoes) is beyond me.
I tried to get a few shots of the shield, it's most prominent on sections where paint has scarped away. As for the sword, the pitted surface helps you see the reflective nature of the sword surface. And the wall is reflective too.
I doubt that would have saved you. I brought the triple threat of being yellow, having a jump pack and winning a 2v1 against a bolter and chainsword, and I still get shot in the back after I'm bloodied but standing. Praise be the local Apothecary.
