Zon decided he wanted to take part in this struggle. He sweeped down with his voidraven, noticing the large figure of Krol'jas.
"Hey! You there! If you give me some money, teeth will do, I can bomb out some of these fishies here!"
He had opened the cab, so he left himself a little vulnerable, but he was sure he could trust the orks.
Zon wanted teeth because he knew a haemonculus back at home who knew how to grow stuff from them... and he had always wanted some slaves for himself.

He looked at the suits of the Tau, grinning on the thought in his head of what would happen to them after a blast from a voidlance.
  2. *Bruticus and his team now walked above ground, keeping low in the Hive's rubble, as they moved from cover to cover, making their way towards a once great building that had been the Hive's museum. Having gotten as far in as they needed to by using the underground sewage pipe, the Marines had finally made their way topside, and were now within sight of their objective. The building itself was massive, and old, arguably one of the older buildings on this planet, but it had not escaped the war being raged, as sections of it now lay collapsed under the various salvos being fired by both forces. The gates into the front courtyard had been collapsed, allowing the team to pass through without any form of particular resistance. Sending Malathrax, Malak and Kal'Bruass to circle around to the back entrance, he, Ozymandias and Adonis now made their way towards the front entrance. As they walked towards the front doorway, suddenly they heard movement to their right, and as one, they turned weaponry drawn. Standing up from the rubble of a wreck vehicle, were two Planetary Defense Force troopers, both very young looking, who had their stubbers raised and aimed at the traitor astartes. Just as Bruticus was about to order their deaths, they dropped their weapons, letting out a sigh of relief.*

"Thank the God-Emperor, it's the space marines."

*This took the traitors off guard, being mistaken for their loyalist brethren. He did suppose that when compared to most chaos space marines, he and his two companions were relativly blessed by very little warp influence, despite their somewhat more intimidating armor. Despite this, Bruticus already had decided his course of action, lowering his combi-flamer, and walking forward.*

"Hail fair warriors of Antaris IV, we, the Angels of Death, have been sent here to secure this position, in preparation for the arrival of more from our legion."

*He took a moment to thank both the Ruinous Powers and the Imperials at the general lack of knowledge your standard civilian had on the Astartes, for this made things considerably easy for him. The PDF soldiers nodded, and ushered them forward.*

"I suppose you'll want to see our sergeant then. He's been here for the past few hours, trying to co-ordinate our defense here, and I'm sure he'll be relieved to have some reinforcements."

"Of course brave warriors, take me to your leader, that I might link up with my brothers, and make plans on pushing back the foul greenskins."

*The Nails were ticking in the back of his mind, ushering him to just simply butcher these two and be done with it, yet he pushed his bloodlust back, knowing his way would be much more effective. Leading the way, the PDF soldiers brought them towards the great doors to the museum, which was guarded by two heavy stubber cannons, their crew looking in awe at the approaching astartes. This place must not be to high on the priorities list of the Guard if the PDF were here guarding it. Very fortunate for the Chaos Space Marines, who continued to advance unabused by their foes, hiding in plain sight. Ascending a stairway, they walked towards a large room, what had once been the paleontology room, now cleared out into a make shift command center, as Bruticus heard a man barking orders back and forth. Stopping at the entrance, the two PDF troopers saluted and the man in charge turned. Bruticus briefly had time to identify him as the sergeant in question.*

"What the hell are you two doing here?"

"Sir, we found something your going to like Sir!"

*The sergeant turned to face Bruticus and the two other astartes and went pale. Bruticus smiled, for he knew in an instant that this man was no PDF, he was a man of the Guard, and he knew that his men had just escorted three gods of war directly into his command center, he tried reaching for his sidarm, a bolt pistol at his hip.*

    "You foo-"

*In a moment, the Sergeant was in Bruticus's grasp, holding his body above the ground, before he squeezed on the small man, and a sickening crunch was heard. Downstairs, a crash and a cry of pain was heard, before the ring of bolter fire, and a sonic blaster rung out. Bruticus tossed the corpse in hand at the vox operator, who still stood stunned before being killed by the impact of another body hitting him. Turning to his two fellow traitor marines, he opened up a vox to all of them.*

    "Kill them all."

*And with that, the Nails took over.*

(World Bleeder also lept out of the system, so there shouldn't be a trace of the chaos ship.)

((OOC: I do not want to kill this RP or distract the participants, but I opened my own RP http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/tides-of-destiny-wh40k-fiction-rp-voting.1679/ because I think here is just a lot of guidelines and overview missing, which I hope to make better with my own RP. People of course can participant in both if liked, but I just fear this RP sank into chaos, at least it is for me hard to keep track, personally))
  4. Krol'jas Krol Subordinate

"Tau?!?! I'M AN ORK YA GIT!!!" Vixen yelled back, the chest cavity of the battlesuit closing. Within the suit, she grinned, her new Combat systems finished installing into the Suit's operating system. Using the suit, she reached down to grab a large modified power axe that her Grots had left for her. "I was trained by Krol'jas da' 'eadchoppa! I'm one of the choppiest Orks there is ya git!!!" She shouted, charging headfirst into combat.

Elsewhere in the great melee at the gate...

"Ain't no PUNY, L'IL, KANZ, IZ GONNA TAKE ME DOWN!!!" Krol'jas shouted, charging into a trio of battlesuits, catching them unawares in close combat. The turned to bring their plasma rifles to bear, only to have Krol'jas grab their suits' arms towards each other, two of the suits tearing gaping holes into each other's armor. The middle suit lunged forward, trying to kick the massive Nob, the suit's foot about to connect before a blue-tinged field repulsed it away from him. "HAH! VIXEN'S KUSTOM FIELD WORKZ WONDAHS!!!" Krol'jas barked, bringing his power axes together to cleave the leg off of the offending suit. The mechanical limb went flying, crushing a seemingly lost fire warrior beneath it.

"ANY MORE?!?! ANY MORE?!?!?! I'Z DA BIGGEST NOB 'ERE!!! AIN'T NONE OF YOUZ LOT GONNA TAKE ME DOWN!!!" Krol'jas bellowed, continuing his mad killing spree, each and every swing of his power axes cleaving a massive toll of guardsmen and fire warriors alike.

Sub-level Omega, security clearance level Magenta. Prioris.

"What do you mean we can't move it?" The Colonel said, staring at the Interrogator. The room they were in was lit only by very dim lume-sticks, keeping the atmosphere very grim.

"Do you honestly think we can move an artefact of such importance in the middle of a siege? Orks, Tau, and I swear someone saw a fraggin' Dark Eldar VOIDRAVEN, Colonel. The Inquisitor's orders were crystal clear, the Relic doesn't move until this planet is entirely secure." The interrogator replied, the Inquisitorial stormtroopers and Sisters of Battle behind him gripping their Bolters and Hellguns tighter, their aim on the Colonel. "You can complain and protest as much as you want, but if anyone but Inquisition personnel approaches this Vault, they die." The Inquisitor turned, approaching the vault. A Servo-skull floated up, scanning the man's eye.

"Then what do we do?" The Colonel asked.

"Reinforce this level. Even if you have to take troops away from the front lines."

    ----------------------------------

Within the vault, several void-sealed cases held precious items, keeping them safe from atmospheric conditions and tampering. Each case was clearly labeled, detailing the contents within. They were various dimensions, each of the seven cases containing something rather... important.

((Wanted to try and get a goal for everyone in this. Suggestions to change these would be alright. Made'em important, but not too important, y'know?))
  5. *As the Warp Hunters moved into position the Eldar still held off waiting and watching as if there was something supposed to happen. Units of Rangers had taken position in the ruins and cliff sides remaining deadly silent even if the stray shot came close to one of there positions. Unseen by the webway gate the Seer Counsel that had arrived nodded in a grim agreement and the webway hummed to life again. Slowly units of Eldar forces started pouring out in tanks, before long the count was four wave serpents, three firestorms, and a fire prism. All these tanks moved up to the position of the three prior warp hunters and sat there the only noise made was the faint hum of the anti gravity drives holding them off the ground. It would seem the Eldar were suddenly very interested in something that had happened and suddenly things were getting very serious*
  6. As the battle raged above at the city gates, the stealth-suit team sent by the Hive city sewers had seen these six chaos space marines, seemingly led by this "Bruticus". When they managed to catch up, they saw them kill the PDF and the sergeant.

"Pity, said a stealth-suit shas'ui. They would have been of great assistance."
Suddenly, an order came through. It was top-secret orders from a sub-commander of Commander Farsight, relayed by Commander Flamewing.
They had orders to get to sub-level omega, and take this Tau dossier and Dark matter nova reactor for unknown reasons.

Though the stealth-suit team was unsure of what was in it, the dossier contained blueprints for 2 incredibly important prototype weapons. Firstly, one of them was for the XV-107 R'Varna battlesuit, that which was key to Flamewing's promotion. Though Flamewing secretly had a XV-107 R'Varna, it had no power, and he wanted the Dark matter nova reactor so he could power this suit.
(Just so you know, this is what it looks like, and a size comparison)
    [IMG][IMG]

The second thing was of much more importance, and was a dangerous weapon, intended for a much bigger target. The stealth-suits, seeing the chaos space marines move forward in the same direction, stayed behind and followed them towards sub-level omega.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flamewing, in the midst of battle against Vixen finally pushed out and pushed her battlesuit down. He poised his power claw above Vixen just to be tackled by some nobs. Flamewing, stabbing them dead saw Krol'jas.

Angry about all this, he taunted him to a battle...
  7. *Bruticus stood up to his full height, his mind only now clearing of the red haze that overcame him whenever he surrendered to the Butcher's Nails. He held a hand up to his head, noting the blood dripping all over his armor, and the several fleshy remains of PDF at his feet. Damn unprofessional it was, to let himself go like that. He made a point to try and keep that under control in the future. He didn't have the room for error in this mission, and those under the sway of the Nails always made some mistakes. Banishing the thought from his present thought, he turned and made a check over the vox. All radioed in, no current casualties aside from Malathrax oozing a little more than usual, that was good news. He would be quite ashamed of himself if his warriors would fall to such paltry forces.*

"Ozymandias, I want a report on our progress. Have our Imperial hosts taken notice of this little....incident."

*Upstairs, back in what remained of the command center, the Sorcerer and Slaaneshis stood overseeing the vox gear, which they had taken care to not extensively damage. Kal'Brauss played with a device attached to his throat, speaking in various tones, as Adonis aiding his in finding the correct pitch, playing back a recording he had taken over their brief exchange with the now deceased Sergeant. After a few more moments of playing around, Kal'Brauss voice was almost identical to the Imperial, as he began running through a few lines, with Adonis, chuckling as he walked over to the Vox.*

"Watch this my friend, for you are all about to witness a performance from a master."

*As he prepared the vox, Ozymandias sat in the middle of a group of PDF troopers, all barely still living, their faces coated with sweat, and skin pale as corpses, eyes wide open, as if caught in a dream stance. Ozymandias suddenly held up one fist, walking to over to Kal'Brauss, as troopers suddenly fell to the floor. Recovering quickly, the men quickly formed a firing line, as the attempted to rally.*

"Quickly boys...We...can still take...them with us.... For The Empe-"

*Ozymandias turns around to face this force, his stare halting the leader's words. He chuckles, as he holds up his hand, pointing at the group."

"Fools. You don't even know, YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD!"

*With that, the PDF troopers explode in flashes of blood and gore, their last thoughts those of dread and fear.*

"Why Sorcerer, that execution would make even Khorne smile."

*Bruticus laughs as he enters the room, clearly having enjoyed the show just now. Walking over to Ozymandias, he looks over at Kal'Brauss and Adonis, the former seemingly trying out his new voice in a song, the latter remaining silent as he looked over the Khornate. Bruticus had little doubt the swordsman was already going through several mock battles and strategies on how he might kill him, and this also put a grin on his face.*

"So shall we be ready soon? I would rather get out of here without having to fight my way through this entire Hive while having to babysit the lot of you."

"Ready and waiting Sir. Someone here has to pick up the slack in this operation."

"I have the codes, I merely need to pass them along to our prize actor."

*Ozymandias walked over to face Kal'Brauss, holding up both hands to his temples, as runes once more began to flow around him. Kal'Brauss said nothing, yet minuscule movements in his figure showed that this process was not one of comfort or ease, though Bruticus had the suspicion he would enjoy such things. Kal'Brauss turned towards the vox unit, and cleared his throat and went over to the vox, his mind now filled with the codes required to authorize their message, and an idea of the persona this sergeant had, taken from the minds of those stationed with him there. It took only a few minutes, speaking with the Imperials, the relative worth of this outpost meaning that little attention was paid to it, as there were more important, ork filled areas that required defending. He gave the report that all was clear, and that things were fine, even chatting up the man on the other line a bit, a kick from Adonis being the only thing to get him back on track. He was about to end the transmission when suddenly, he received word that his group were to pull back to another location, by order of the higher ups. When inquired, the messenger said that this business was classified, and upon reach the target area, he would be briefed on his next assignment.*

"Alright, well, my thanks. Over and out."

    "Think they bought it?"

"Bruticus, please, you do remember who your talking to right?"

    "Eidolis VII."

    "Fug you to my lord."

*With that the group moved, heading towards the entrance to the basement area of the museum complex. Their objective was here somewhere, and they would find it. Bruticus himself had little idea what exactly this famed scroll they were looking for's importance was, yet if Thamiron wanted it, he would retrieve it.*

"Pshaw, no one cares about me", Zon exclaimed, looking at the orks. He fired his voidlance to show his frustration, killing off a single ork in a brutal explosion.
"Hmm... what about those guys?" he wondered, watching the eldar grav-tanks. "There must be a webway portal there! I could see if they pay me something, or just go home if they wont!"
He guided his Voidraven, passing over most of their tanks. He didn't fire his weapons, to tell them he was not planning on killing them... yet.
He landed on near the ruins, waving at the seer council.
"Hey ya guys! You need some help, I can bomb some of those fishies or those funny green things! I just want to know what you can pay me. I can accept wraithbone or spirit sto... uhm, wraithbone."
  9. Ira issued the driver to turn around as they exited the pipe.
"Damn... Those Iron Warriors do know their tech and sure enough one day you'll find it coming in handy. I'm picking up vox chatter. BACK THROUGH THE PIPINGS! There is glory to be gained for the Gods!".
The driver, terrified as he already was, swings the wheel, hits the break and cries out "No more! NO MORE!". The guardsman opened the side hatch in an attempt to escape, only to see the red rain intensifying.

"Does my companion need to remind you which side you have chosen to be on regarding daemonic summonings? NOW DRIVE BEFORE I MAKE YOU BAIT FOR A BLOODLETTER!".
The Nails started to buzz in Cöspers head, but he did not gave in, he rather smashed the pommel of his chainaxe against his helmet to silence it.

    ++++++++

Meanwhile at the cultist suicide spot a single Bloodletter Herald stepped out.
    "I... I sense..."
A Bloodhound of Khorne stepped out. "Do you feel that Ag'rhi'keff?" The herald said to his hound as it bent through it knees.
The hound howled an awefully loud, warped cry, causing the clouds to thunder.
"Go notify our summoners that remnants of Lord Angrons weapons is here. Then tell Lord Angron himself."
The Bloodletter Herald remained in place, frozen in position, unable to walk past the summoning field, but Ag'rhi'keff ran, sniffing for the scent of World Eater and Word Bearer.

    ++++++++

Ira, Cösper and their driver soon made it back through the sewage system, only to find another blockade. This time it were a whole lot of PDF and a few guardsmen. The driver stepped out and all arms were pointed at him untill they saw he wasn't carrying a weapon.
The commander of the group asked "Report! Who are you carrying?"
    "Two Astartes sire of the..."
Ira and Cösper stepped out, the cloth covering their marks now also red from the rain and blood "...Crimson Robes. We are a forward party and picked up signals of distress in this district. Are there any buildings of importance that we need to know of?"

The commander stood baffled. He hadn't heard of this new chapter, but splinter chapters were founded every day... "Well... There's the Governors Palace and the Armoury. The Factorium has been sealed shut and we have a few men at..." Ira's tabbard shifted, revealing a pre-heresy Word Bearer pauldron "the... museum...".
The commander stood petrified as he heard Ira's voice in his head.

"Not so fast guardsman. I would like to remind you that resistance at this point is futile. Cösper here has fought alongside the mighty Khârn during the siege of Terra, surely you know that a veteran of such skill can not be killed by simple lasfire. I offer you a chance to stay alive if you join us. Should you refuse you might find yourselves as the wrong end of a chainaxe, or even worse, a Bloodletter's sword. Choose wisely. Our driver has chosen wisely before you.".

The guardsman stood in shock. This was heresy. A commisar would have his head. Let alone the Inquisition. He had strict orders, though he knew he wouldn't win the battle.
The men he had in his command were close friends and even family, they would follow him into oblivion.
But to turn to Chaos? He hesitated. He could have a longer life. If he stayed with the marines he would be safe. He might even protect his own men from friendly fire.

"Lord Astartes, I am Major Sullus, me and my men are at your disposal to whatever goal you set."

"Good. Now let us go to the museum, I have a good feeling about it, feel free to join us in the transport."

    ++++++++

Ag'rhi'keff ran with an unholy speed. He followed the trail of the two marines through the sewage and back. He stopped. He smelled something different. He smelled the battle that had ensued and he rushed to his summoners.

    ++++

The Rhino transport and the PDF that were forced to walk arrived at the museum a few minutes behind the source of the vox chatter.
By this time Ira and Cösper had revealed themselves and luckily for everyone Sullus managed to keep everyone calm in a rational way. The two marines straightened themselves and stepped out of the Rhino's back.
One of the PDF shrieked in horror as Ag'rhi'keff jummped on Ira.
Sullus spoke "Stand down men. As long as you don't aggitate it, it will not see you as a target."
Ira listened to Ag'rhi'keff's message. He understood the beast's way of movement, it had happened a few times before.

"Cösper. You were right. It is here. Finally you will get the chance to cement the alliance between Lord Khârn and our Lord Apostle. This will be glorious. Like Lorgar and Angron before them."

"Then let us go. And remember guards! We are the Crimson Robes!"

Ag'rhi'keff sped off into the museum.

Ira and Cösper nodded towards eachother "He found another one of you guys".
    "Perfect".
  10. A Tau pathfinder squad of Commander Flamewing had scouted the museum. They were sent to confirm the truce message about the Tau and Imperial forces. Already with the Imperial Guard and PDF inside to tell them about the alliance, they now had been planning for what to do. And then they saw the museum door open.

As they saw who entered, they asked them to give the codeword. The codeword was intended to confirm that they were really in allegiance towards each other, as they already knew of the truce, they just had to confirm it.
The pathfinder squad looked at the 2 supposed space marines and aimed trained their pulse carbines, as in the time they'd given they still had not given their code word.
"What's the code? Give it now!"
