  1. (Always count on the Orks for innovation. Would have never considered using the Off-Topic area for Roleplaying. I'll make an entrance tomorrow, after I've gotten some sleep.)

  3. "Imperial signal sir!"
    "From where?"
    "The planet we discussed yesterday!"
"What news does it bare? It's highly unlikely without interference from the warp that our brothers have arrived yet."
"I wouldn't know sir, should I open a link with it?"
*Who would contact us at this time. Both the governor and the general have established links-albeit weak ones that cut out at times*
    "Very well."
  4. The sound of hammer ringing upon the anvil filled the cramped confines of the Wyrmfire. It was a little-heard sound in the forty first millennium, but one the ship's inhabitants knew well, for the Salamanders knew above all the value of a hand crafted weapon. And thus, when the message came, they found him at the anvil.

Chaplain Kato regarded the figure before him with an unusual mixture of reverence and irritation. Standing almost two feet taller then the aged Chaplain was one of the Salamanders' most treasured and most reviled artifacts, The Iron Dragon, Sokhar Bray'arth, Ashmantle.

The ancient Dreadnought stood before an improbably large anvil, an improbably large hammer clenched tightly in it's right power fist, and an improbably large set of tongs in his left. With tools in hand, the Dreadnought was smashing a superheated chunk of Rhino plating salvaged from their most recent battlefield. From where Kato stood, it look like he was forging a bucket.

Choughing loudly to gain the ancient's attention, Kato bowed deeply as Ashmantle turned to face the Chaplain, tools of the forge still in hand.

"BROTHER CHAPLAIN. WELCOME TO MY FORGE. WHAT BRINGS YOU BEFORE THE IRON DRAGON?"

Shifting slightly before the Dreadnought's mighty visage, Kato was slow to answer. This displeased Ashmantle. "SPEAK BOY, I HAVE LITTLE TIME TO SPARE BEFORE YOU BASTARDS TRY TO PUT ME BACK TO SLEEP."

Kato cringed inwardly at the Dreadnought's crude language; Salamanders were more informal then most chapters, but calling a Chaplain a bastard was still a bit more coarse then he was used to. They weren't Space Wolves, after all. His irritation growing at the grouchy Dreadnought's behavior, Kato growled slightly as he spoke, "Venerable Brother, need I remind you that you are not in command here? That honor resides with myself, not you, and I'd have you treat me as such."

Bray'arth did not speak for a moment, content to merely rumble in response for a few minutes as he considered the Chaplain's disrespect for his esteemed personage. Moments later, the Chaplain was startled when a loud rasping noise not unlike someone strangling a leonid issued from the Dreadnought's speakers. After a few moments he realized what it was; the Iron Dragon was laughing.

Pivoting a hundred and eighty degrees, Bray'arth placed his tools beside the anvil before turning back to Kato, "YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT OF MOUNT DEATHFIRE HERSELF IN YOU BROTHER. I AM AMUSED. NOW, TELL ME OF THIS NEWS YOU HAVE FOR ME, OR I SHALL INCINERATE YOU FOR WASTING MY VALUABLE TIME."

Kato sighed at the Ancient's odd ways, silent for a moment as he contemplated how far the mighty could fall, before responding oncemore. "We have received a message from our brother Ultramarines." at this Bray'arth gave a derisive snort, "They have gotten word of a large Waaagh! raiding a nearby world, and as we are in system, they sent word to us requesting reinforcement."

Ashmantle seemed to straighten at the mention of the greenskin horde, battle was the Ancient's favorite activity, and he had been sorely lacking in chances to go to war as of late. Clenching and unclenching his power fists, he rumbled approvingly, "WE GO TO WAR THEN, BROTHER?" Kato gave a grim smile, "Aye Brother, we got to war."
  5. Meanwhile, back at Flamewing's strike base...

Flamewing: *Speaking to his sub-commanders* So, here is our options towards the new arrival of the Ork ship Razortoof. Our options to attack this ship range from...

*Tau communications officer(Rank: Shas'vre) bothers Flamewing*

Flamewing: What is it? Do you have any contact with the Imperium at all? We must contact them if we are to beat the Orks, Shas'vre.

Tau comm's Shas'vre: Sir...actually I came to tell you that no matter what we're trying at the moment, it seems they can't pick up.

Flamewing: WHAT? Come back to me when you have ACTUAL news for me. Dismissed.

    Tau comm's Shas'vre: But sir...there's another option.

Flamewing: ? Please, explain that other option.

Tau comm's Shas'vre: Our stealth, pathfinder teams and our team have heard chatter from the Imperial side that they're sending...space marines sir.

Flamewing: Shas'vre, as soon as these Space Marines are within comms range, try to contact them about our potential alliance against these Orks. But for now, keep on trying to contact the Imperium fighting in there in the city. Out, Shas'vre. There is much more to be done if we to secure this battle for us.

*Onboard one of the sent Vessels*
"I wonder what enemy we will face, we were relatively fast sent without any exact briefing of what to expect or what to prepare of, though it is our duty of course to be ready for anything, right Battle-Brother?"
I spoke out loud in one of the lonely spots among the vessel, wearing my fresh-repaired armor from the last campaign, staring at the ceiling and thinking about my long-lost battle-brother.
"If it should be Tyranids I will make sure to annihilate as many as I can for you, Battle-Brother Thyon, may you have found your place next to the God-Emperor."
I wish he still would be among our rows as he was one of the strongest, most skilled and faithful men of Imperium I had ever known. Thyon was not of any higher rank, he was from his appearance not any different than the most of our battle-brothers, but he and I had a special connection in battle. As if we could see through each others eye, read each others mind, we knew always what the other had in mind and that brought destruction upon many enemies.
"Brother Urian!" my thought was interrupted by a well known voice to me, a voice of a man who knew how to lead.
"Yes Seargent?" I responded and saluted appropriately.
"The briefing starts soon, Captain Ventris just gave command to the Seargents to gather their squads, so let's move it, Devastator-Brother!"

@ChapterMaster I want to really only play my role as a Devastator Brother so I hope you will lead Captain Ventris or whoever you want to be leading the operation, also I did not mention the Devastator Seargent name in case you want to name him

"Dis will be a goodz day for..... medicinz boyz."

A new Ork squad lead by a mad Oddboy Dok named Oogre joined the fray. Not interested in the fighting or other trival things the other Boyz enjoyed, Oogre wanted to make things. He walked through the battlefield looking for new cybernetics to experiment with or new boyz to experiment on. Piles of Imperial Guard and Ork bodies filled the battlefield and not a single good cybernetic.

"ARG! Wherez be the cybers at! Howz am I suppose to experiment on me boyz with no good cybers!" Oogre screamed loudly while shooting the heads off a few surviving umies. He looks over to one Cyberboyz, "Oi! Wherez the fightingz at?!"

A whistling sound filled the air as series of bombardments as a series of Basilisks rain down fire onto the Ork line. Oogre looked around quickly a saw a large number of smoke clouds rising from the ground, an artillery line. "Der!" He climbed into the back of a warwagon yelling at his Boyz to hurry up. "Go! Go! GO!" smaking the Nob who was attached to the wagon....literally. Oogre's dream since being a young Nob was to work on a Ork in a Dreadnought. His first major battle, he was able to break open its hatch and see the warrior inside. A man with a body of steal, Imagine what an Ork could do in one of thoses! Since then hes been trying to add any and all cybernetics or an Orks body. The first "traditional" additions went well, the machine gun arm, a powerclaw, but then he started to get more psychotic with each new experiment, George on the battle wagon was lucky. Lets just say the Orkz who follow Oogre are the luckiest of horde or so he has experiemented on, Umies included.

((So far the story is getting good. Remember to respect the direction the last person who posted has taken before going on with your story. Also try and message one another to talk about the direction your going to take the story in beforehand if your idea was to do something crazy :p And if i may throw an idea out there...with the influx of RPers that have joined our orky story i'd suggest we start taking turns with the story. That way we aren't stepping on each others toez. For right now we don't have to do that as theres only a handfull of us in the story so far. :). Krol'jas is the final word on this thread as he started the story. So if and when he ends it then it shall be ended. But HOPFULLY DAT WON'T BE FER A GUD LONG WHILE!! WAAAAAAGHHHH!!)) ((And right now i'm waiting for his turn in the story so i can continue mine :D ))
  9. *Just outside of the battle ground an Eldar webway gate hums to life. As a force of Eldar start to appear a small group of the Eldar are seen talking to each other as if they are planning what will happen here. Like always there is a question of why the Eldar would be here, after all this is a fight between the Mon-Keigh and Orks but never the less it appears to have attracted the attention of the Eldar in this sector*

((Will post more later I'm at work atm but here is a fairly open way for Eldar to join in))

((Hope mine was okay then and self-explaining enough, but I am glad you point this out in general I for example also don't read the Ork parts at the moment so I do not know what is going on to better blend in with my Character, lol. But I am excited where this whole stuff leads to, just one big concern: What do we do in PvP parts?))
