Tolczaro sighed as he watched the horde of tau creations swarm his craft. This he had not expected, the tau had never been a race to produce such numbers so rapidly. ~My lord...~ came his protectors metal tone, but he was quickly silenced by a raised hand. ~I am aware Immortal...~ he responds in his normal slightly lively tone. ~The star pulse generator should handle these... machines.~ He says as he silently commands the activation of the weapon. Firing it so close to the planet threatened anything mechanical on the surface that was not necron, but that was not the lords concern. Suddenly a visible wave of pure energy erupted from the ship, but the tau's damage was done. The massive energy output cut the engines, causing the craft to halt in the air above the planet. The lord grumbled and slammed his fist against the black terminal. ~Idiotic blue garbage aliens...~ he ranted more and used more colorful ancient language than most of the attending machines had heard in centuries. ~How long before the engines are repaired?~ the lord said turning a praetorian in charge of piloting the ship to face him. ~A few hours my lord, but we can phase the ship in a few minutes if needed.~ the pilot says calmly to the hunched lord. ~Bah...~ Tolczaro said waving his hand. He needed to reach that shard and phasing was much to dangerous this close to the sun. ~Fry the surface of the planet, I want nothing reaching this ship!~ he ordered, knowing that meant glassing millions. With a nod and a switch blasts of lightening and green death fell upon any foolish enough to close in on the crippled ship. While the pulse had all but eliminated anything mechanical in the area, the living were not as easy to erase, there were many areas to hide and the gunners struggled to pick out targets from such an altitude. Miles from the massive crippled ship, a small detachment of necrons prowled the tau ship, invisible to the untrained eye they scouted, finding routes, controls, and more than a few stow aways. The first to become aware of their presence were the cultists, but those who made contact were quickly dispatched. Erozco wanted this ship to fear him, he wanted to be known but not found, so he left the bodies, mutilated and barely recognizable. He led the group silently and left more than a dozen bodies of varying species in his wake as he scouted, smiling to himself if he could.
(looks like this is taking to the ships with nothing left on the surface of importance. Plus the thread is slowly derailing... So this will be my true final post) The Great Unclean One stared at the ships above and sat there with a goofy smile. He sensed the presence of life quickly fading around him so it conjured a nasty rusted blade. It was taking too long, the destruction of this planet. So by Nurgle's blessing the greater daemon plunged the blade through the crust of the planet. Rot and disease begun to run rapidly through to the core of the planet, essentially stopping the planet itself from turning. As if the planet itself had immediately given up hope. The daemon was pleased as he plunged the blade in a second time. Small tremors startedto ripple all over the planet's surface. It plunged the blade in a third time and the skies turned a sickening rotten greenish brown, blocking out the sun. The blade penetrated the planet a fourth time. the lesser daemons disappeared. The Great Unclean One stared up as if swung the blade downwards for a fifth time, illuminating the ground with it's own rot. It smashed a sixth time and the tremors turned into churning quakes, the crust began to give in. And on the seventh strike the daemon vanished and the planet began to implode. Any mortals on the planet would still have time to escape into orbit, but after seven minutes and seven seconds the planet crumbled in on itself, releasing a cloud of rot where the planet once was, a forever green pulsating growth in the void of space that would forever remain the same in size and shape. Nurgle was pleased, and his child returned to him.
as the watchman floated before the sun it slowley shrunk as a matalic hand exetid the sun "well old freind have you had your fill" as he spoke the c'tan emerged from the sun its form a mirror of the watchmans in pure silver and as it did it saw the necron ship and let out a low laugh and in the second it did a power surge regesterd on the ship as the c'tan and watchman decended to the ship both angels surrounded by the light of the sun
OOC sorry I haven't posted in a while Steelfang observed the madness that had developed he and his Iron Hounds left the planet long before the tyranid hit the fan so to speak he had gathered more than enough The Executioner was fully stocked and ready to return to the worlds beyond the light of the Imperium defending humanity where the imperium refuesed to tred his gaze fellon the direction of macarge one day he would see it burn and he would have Gulliman and that treachorus bastard Calgar's heads mounted on his trophy wall but for now the Iron Hounds had other work to do A rift was torn open and The Executioner heavy with ill gotten gain warped away from this doomed world
The drone production facility had been set a secret directive by the long gone Commander Flamewing. Be a true AI, survive and evolve. The drone central intelligence, the system in charge responded to the situation near instantaneously. A drone ship the central intelligence constructed soon had launched, and went to stop the Necrons and all that opposed once and for all. During their Tau master's absence, they had learned their small forms were not of the best...So they had modifications like no other drone ever seen, some having fusion blades, others with tougher armor, and monstrosities even to the Tau. Yet, Flamewing left one simple hidden directive in the central intelligence and all the drones. Any Tau could not attacked. Meanwhile, The drone intelligence ordered the drones within the Necron ship to engage their leader, and ignoring the Tau disciples, the intelligence had built swarms of drones, being able to outnumber if the ratios were in their favor. The main drone intelligence prepared it's own ship to fire, and more swarms of true AI drones soon swept any other opposing ships in their way. Their next target was Steelfang's ship...
