*side stepping a pule shot Steelfang bellowed Iron Hounds attack turning his combi-meltagun on the annoying tau kill team felling two of the pests the Iron Hounds soon joined in creating a wall of bolter fire (you may be slightly confused the orks just work for Skullclaw the assistant to my tech officer Rognis they don't guard me they helping to strip this smaller city of tech I'm a renegade marine and so are my Iron Hounds) that pinned down the tau force and killing most of them off save for the commander no he was proving to be a more challenging target
Gah, I just realized I derped with the guy I was gonna attack. Anyway. Let's just say I sent a task force to stall you but most died trying.
Clanging of steel and sizzle of welders clouded the outpost. Dark icons rose quickly and holy symbols of the Imperium desecrated in the most heinous of ways. The great doors of the chapel creaked open as timid footsteps moved closer to the pulpit. "My...my lord?" The silence was tense. Very rarely does a mere mortal address an Adeptus Astartes and live. "Speak." The cultist cringed, ever fearing the swift shot of a bolt pistol, or the biting sting of a chainsword. "I said speak." Sweat beading on the cultist as he attempted to compose himself. He panicked as he saw the massive figure turn and slowly walk towards him. Every step of his great boots seemed like an earthquake. "I will not openly kill a loyal servant. But I do have limits for my patience." "My apologies, dread lord. The fortifications and arming of the outpost are finished." "Good. How long till we are reinforced?" "Not...not for a week." Thalias scowled. This wasn't part of the plan. The Black Legion was to be here within a day of the outpost being taken. Had the Warsmith lied to him? Was the Black Legion purposely sabotaging Iron Warrior efforts? Thalias chuckled at the nature of Chaos infighting. "You are excused." The cultist quickly exited the chapel. A metal hand slowly touched an insignia of the Inquistion on an old tome. "Fifty years. Fifty years since that day, and I still haven't found my vengeance!" *********************************************** "Here at the records you asked for, captain." "Thank you, serf." Shortly after the serf's departure, the thud of boots and the clang of metal drew closer. "Still reading the old records, captain?" The Space Marine scowled as the Inquisitor chastised him with the past. The cloaked figure slowly came to the captain's side. "Still bitter about that incident?" A metal fist slammed the table. "You know better than anyone Adronius! We lost eleven good Astartes because of your agenda!" "Captain Holdren, I suggest you adjust your tone when speaking to an Inquisitor." "We lost one to heresy, and ten to chase him." "But what did we get in return? Be practical. You have ever-loyal Space Marines now. None will ever consider falling to Chaos." Holdren looked down at the record. The words, "Hybrid Gene-seed" flashed brightly. "How could you think of such a fate for the Emperor's loyal servants?" Adronius smiled and placed a hand on Holdren's shoulder. "Why, for the good of the Imperium of course. We sacrifice one marine for the loyalty of the rest." "You sacrificed one of the best the Iron Fists had ever seen!" "He was the only viable choice. If it were anyone else, the other would call into question the legitimacy of the claim." Captain Holdren sighed and looked down at the name of the lost brother. He knew better than anyone that Adronius was right in his methods. The Blood Ravens had a terrible battle with heresy in the chapter that raged for years across sub-sector Aurelia. He didn't want that for the Iron Fists, or any other chapter for that matter. He looked down at the name one last time before handing it over to Adronius. The screen flashed, "Thalias Blackhammer" before being powered down.
Steelfang had ordered the two remaining tau to be brought to him they cowered before him Steelfang was unusally large even for a space marine standing head and shoulder above his men he kneeled down and asked the tau who sent you? They looked at each other before speaking Commander Firewing one said Steelfang nodded very good you will tell me everything you know of him he turned to the other and crushed his skull like a grape I only need one of you. The opperation was ahead of schedule most of the city had been captured and was being transported up to the Executioner as the war for the capital intensified it seemed the break off groups became even more infrequent Steelfang sent out a small scouting party to see if there were any other settlements nearby to plunder this battle was already paying huge dividents
( Hello there nice people, i like where this things is going, i'dd like to join but i'm a foreigner and my english risk to not be perfect, excuse me for that, first things first i will try to introduce myself and my boyz and then maybe join the story ;P since i've got alot of time i want to scrive a book about this thread so please, give me stuff ! ) After watching the tau being crushed by the Marine, the two Kommando get back to the HQ where they find others patrol saying this planet is now in a full war between Ork, Astrate, Tau, Eldars and probably Chaos... speaking of it, it was a total chaos in the base... " what are we gona do ? " was the questions on everyone big green lips... " We need to tell it to Max " The tent was big, flooded by weapon, communication device, explosive an unknow glowing stuff, Waauz and Skargor was kinda fascinated and disrupted everytime they come here... they coughed discreetly and the so called Max awaken and face them, he was somehow smaller that a'n normal Ork, but a malicious flame was dancing in his eye. " Yes ? " " Oy Max, they gone mad and start a big war here, lot of factions and they will probably find us, what do we do" Max looked in the flame of the fire for a minute and finaly say " This world was good for looting and training the rookie but everything can't last forever... we go somewhere else, pack the shit together and if someone somehow saw us, kill it. " They where 56, fifty-six capable and "inteligent" free Ork trained in the art of sabotage and assassination, they packed the material with swiftness and precision, after just 20 minutes the small camp was empty of all living proof expect the litte fire where Max keep staring at, the eyes filled with blood, he wasn't here anymore, sometime drinking a full bottle in less than a second, they where all ready but no one dared to interupt him in his strange trance.... ... .... ..... ...... Maexvangelion was the full name, a strange name for a'n Ork, but since "Max" was captive by the Dark Eldars for so long he couldn't remember something else than the strange planet and torture where he was prisoner, a prey, hunted by Eldarith Ynneas and Monsters alike for training or fun... forced to do stuff that he couldn't imagine in his prescedent life just to stay alive... forced to snort powder and drink glowing orange liquid that make your soul explode from the inside and vomit from the outside, doing labor every second of his miserable life but somehow, the strange powder gave him a brain, a mind, he know how to talk and read proprely or operate complex machinery, it was hard learning it but it payed but a day he was catched reading out loud and send in the Cerast arena to die, fighting everyday, every night, but for a'n unknow reason he keep wining and they finaly drop him into the forest, free and... he wasn't free, he was just another toy for the Archon but still he now know more stuff about Dark Eldars and engineering that any others Orks, he doesn't chose this name, they called him " Agaith Shelwe " his fate was probably to die but the arrogant Dark Eldars in theyr permanent hunt awakened and old Necron base, "Max" decide to profit from the chaos of the battle to steal a ship, the emblem of the ship was a Lion and a fallen Angel in the hand of a Archon that have his helmet burned by three letters : e.v.e... piloting the ship was hard, but he finaly manage to land ( or crash ? ) on a planet nammed Armaggedon where he managed to find the remanent of the Ghzaghkull Thraka force in the jungle, the Snikrot Red Skulls, here, they teached him about guerilla and assassination and he build them armor, weapon and poison, after a while he decided to form is own band, without boss or grotz but instead free Inteligent Ork that know how to read and maybe scrive and how tu use a soap. ...... ......... ........... " M..... " " M.......a....... " " MAX ! " " Oy, you where with the stars again for too long " " how many ? " " Huuuur, too long Max " " You need to know how to count if you want a better futur than the others rock-head " " K' Max " The sun was about to go down, a little wind bring him the scent of blood and burn, Max take a deep breath and finaly say : " We strike at dawn "
Flamewing wanted the upper hand on everything. He was cautious, after all. Sending a scout team to check about this "Max". Although he disgruntled that his team had somewhat failed to stop Steelface, at least they stalled him. Getting pretty impatient, he asked his Stealth team when that Dark Matter nova reactor was gonna be here. Promoting it soon, he soon got back to planning his next move...How to approach Warboss Krol'jas and get rid of this pesky Vixen tau...or whatever she was now.
Steelfang found out much about Flamewing's plans and decided to make a royal mess of them the city was stripped bare of all they needed his Iron Hounds moved out they were going to capture this dark matter reactor one way or another and kill as many tau as they could along the way hopefully killing some ultramarines along the way these fools were in his domain urban and void warfare was the Iron Hounds bread and butter. Steelfang roared time to show these fools what happens when the hounds of war have been let of their chains
Spotting the chance to escape the two marines in red manage to push through the spell cast upon them, they make use of that chance and escape with the ancient weapon to return it to Khârn and then to Angron. Bloodletters begin to run rampant through the city. And with his summoners free from harm the Huntsman stands down and simply asks "Who to kill now?"
Steelfang haulted his men beofre they entered the city the battle that raged was a collosal slug fest. Quickly and with all the stealth they could the Iron Hounds managed to find the tau that were attempting to bring the dark matter reactor to Flamewing. The hounds set up a ambush and waited for the foolish tau to step into it
Flamewing has told his stealth team to stay alert and wait until he arrived. He was NOT going to lose this to anything, to be extra careful. Ordering a manta to arrive at the RZ, he ordered his orca to get there. In mere minutes, the fast Orca had arrived, and Flamewing was there, even with a fake Dark Matter Nova Reactor. He wanted the manta to pick it up and send it back to base, he prized that XV107 Rvana class battle suit really highly. To remind you what it looks like: He chuckled to himself as he had secured this, he had joined up with the stealth teams, and with a Tau manta en route, nothing could beat it. Several Phirana strike teams rained down, with 3 Hammerheads joining in. Flamewing ordered an XV-104 to come over. He NEEDED this power source for the XV107 Suit no matter what. And then he would prove to all those foolish enough to not accept their terms(Already planning to exclude the Dark Eldar, Chaos space marines and Orks) that the Farsight Enclaves specifically would show dominance. He let himself in more future plans until there was a hail from a Farsight Enclave official. "Commander, I hope you bring that Tau dossier. It has blueprints for...extremely destructive weaponry" The Commander wondered personally what weapon, but nevertheless said his response: "Yes sir. That is our current objective. We plan to ask the humans for it once we finish helping them" The official sternly replied: "Excellent Commander. I trust you shall not look into these blueprints until authorized. There are much important blueprints in that dossier for the future of the Farsight Enclaves. Until then Commander, good luck. And yes, you are authorized to use the XV-107."
