A Beautiful Day... (rp Thread)

  1. Flamewing's superior enforcer-class suit prevented the virus, but seeing Vixen jumping away, had instinctively shot at her, and had shot a tracker probe at a hidden battle suit joint. Deliberately missing a plasma rifle shot at Vixen to draw off attention, he then ordered his forces to regroup. The tracker, if successfully attached would do part of their work of them.

Telling Castus about their temporary withdrawal to regroup and formulate a plan, and secretly hoped his unpowered XV-107 suit would soon have the Dark matter nova reactor brought to him, and the other weapon which Farsight's sub-commander had asked for. His promotion was still within reach, the final order to follow before becoming part of the great Farsight's personal bodyguards. Ordering his forces back to the strike camp, he soon followed.

Part of this alliance was for a reason. Apart from improving relations, it was to also see if they could exchange back for their dossier and the power source. Should this fail, the stealth-team would covertly steal it. The thing was just too powerful and complex out of Tau hands.

Flamewing, knowing he had already been successful with the truce with the majority of the Imperial guard, attempted to contact any space marine legions on-planet. When discussing with Castus, both of them knew they would need all the help they could get. The command-link-drone had established contact with 2 chapters, the Salamanders and the Angels of Death. Sending his message, Flamewing said:

"Greetings noble Space Marines. I am Commander Flamewing, in your language. The Imperial guard plus an Inquisitor Castus has agreed to a truce to eliminate the Orks, and whatever else needs to be done. We all know this is the best way. Please contact back if you wish to further discuss about this." Flamewing called the drone off, and sent a decent sized patrol, that had a Hammerhead to the Governor's palace to keep their promise of support.

As for the Stealth-Team, they witnessed Ozymandias's ritual...or whatever they could contemplate it as. Flabbergasted, they almost de-activated their steal-field-generators, only to make sure they didn't do so.
The stealth-team followed Ozymandias's force...for now. They would decide later what to do. Hopefully they would lead them to their objective, and distract the guards so they could sneak past. If worst came to worst, they would use their Fusion blasters, and the recon-drone even had a grav-inhibitor(search it up :p)

Suddenly the sky was lit with a dark glow as a Webway portal was deployed, linking directly to Port Carmine in Commorragh. Hundreds of reaver-jetbikes flew like massive daggers, shouting their warcries and waving their agonizers and venomblades.
They had been called by Zon with a simple enough task and a neat payment:
Severing the heads of any orks they find, collecting their teeth and bringing them back to him. Zon promised that he would bring each who managed this a personal slave, grown somewhere in the tubes deep under Commorragh.

Zarian led his squad down towards the surface, noting the craftworld grav-tanks nearby.
"Hey, what if we bring some of those back home, will we get our own craffie to boss around?"
One of his mates laughed, and from a brief impulse, Zarian ordered his squad to turn around and get some eldar teeth, and so did a few others, splitting the gangs between those who wanted to show orks what real dakka dakka was, and those who wanted to tell their cousins what real speed was.

Zarian grinned as he prepared his heatlance.

    --

Zon had already left to Port Carmine, to convince his haemonculus-friend to help him with this deal. If he would fail, he would be in serious trouble when it came to paying the gangs with their slaves...
  3. *The Eldar shook their heads as they watched the webway portal open up and the dark kin pour out* It seems the runes were right. Take them out and prepare to enter the city. *As the seer who was talking finshed the Eldar grav tanks suddenly announced the Eldar presence. Opening fire on the Jetbikes the trio of warp hunters launched a volley into the middle of the Dark Eldar force that tore into them obliterating over 30 jet bikes and the riders as they were pulled screaming into the very heart of the warp by the large portal the tanks made then instantly shut on them. The other Eldar tanks opened fire as well, scatter laser fire so heavy that it would put a unit of Venoms to shame in the sheer amount of firepower alone, however the explosions and warp tears were something that would not go unnoticed even in the heavy fighting going on outside the city, the Eldar had now joined this massive fight and only time would tell what the outcome would be*

Zarian laughed at his weak comrades who were so promptly cut down.
He still had, however, a slight concern for his own safety, so he flew over the warp hunters, made a sharp turn, and fired a well-aimed shot with his heatlance at the rear of one of the grav-tanks, exploding it.
The remains of his squad bladevaned over any scattered eldar, severing off a few heads here and there.
"If those seers can see in the future, they better be withdrawing now. War is not their best business."
  5. *At the destruction of one of the Warp hunters the other two moved and opened fire again on the unit of jetbikes, the pilots watched again as a number of the enemy disappeared into the warp. As they continued on the Firestorms opened up on the bomber, scatter lasers tearing into the craft like a hot knife threw butter cutting off half the wing and completely destroying the engine. As the craft started to go down the guns turned back to the Dark Eldar jetbikes and opened up another volley of fire causeing even more damage to the unit as the flew around for another pass, suddenly the surrounding area was filled with a new volley, the remaining troops now wanted blood and they would have it, they opened up with their shuriken weapons. The Dark Eldar riders flew stright into the volley and were cut down by thousands of tiny razor sharp micro blades*
  6. *As Cösper would turn to face Ira, calling out that to activate their plot to flee the planet's surface, Ira would find that as he attempted to utilize their precast spell, that he would now be frozen in place, his mind coming under the assault of a great psychic being, as coming from behind the group, was Bruticus and his team. Ozymandias floated behind the group, his eyes gleaming with white light, as he held out his hand, as if grasping something. Ira would find himself picked up into the air by an unseen force, and tossed aside casually, as Bruticus, flanked by Adonis and Malak stepped towards Cösper, his massive Chain axe drawn, he free hand held out.*

"I'm afraid I can't let you leave with Widowmaker brother. You would use it's power to attempt the impossible, to re-unite the legion, which we both know to be a foolish goal. Hand over the axe, that I might use it to better ends, so that it might feel the touch of a orignal son of our father, Angron."

*The Traitor Marines would stand ready, Kal'Brauss and Malathrax standing on either side of Ozymandias, as he worked his sorcerer upon the Ira, continuing to dominate his mind. Bruticus would stare down Cösper, awaiting his answer, hoping the World Eater would choose wisely. Having been attacked by that flesh hound, Bruticus immediatly had Ozymandias search for any other servents of the Dark Gods in the Hive, those with the power to summon such daemonic entities. He had located these two, and immediatly, Bruticus had led his team to their location, while the flesh hounds went to the Governor's Palace, arriving only moments before the faithful hound had returned. Ozymandias, recognizing the artifact in the beast's grasp, would act immediately, knowing that with the World Eater, Widowmaker would be lost forever in a foolish cause.*

"I'z can smell it, I'z can!!!" Krol'jas said, looking about the massive courtyard as his Boyz disperesed around their new section of the city, looting, scrapping, and fighting their way through every building. "I'z know dat' smell! Smells like dem' warp thingys! Smells like demons! Smells like BLOODSHED!!!" Krol'jas shouted, turning to Vixen. "Whur's it comin' from? I needz ta' know! It'z gonna be da' best fight EVAH!!!"

Vixen shook her head, still inside her new crisis suit. As she began to click and clack on a keyboard, hacking into the surprisingly large number of drones within the city, she sifted through all the information. "Near their museum, Boss! Trying to pin down the source now..." She said, continuing to sift through the information. Grots were busying themselves with fixing and Orkifying her suit as she continued to search. "Hmmm... Ah-HAH! Got'cha!!! I've got total control of the 'oomies' security systems for that block... Uhhhhh, Boss. I think you'll want to see this..."

"Wut?" Krol'jas said, poking his head inside the suit, looking down at the vid-screen. "Spikey boyz?!?!?! When did dey' get 'ere?!?! Round up da' Nobz! We'ze gonna get ovah dere' and take'em out! An' make sure da' rest of da' boyz know da' plan! LOOT LOOT LOOT!!!" Krol'jas shouted, hefting up his Axes and his Dakka, starting to make his way down the street before stopping to look back at Vixen.

"Large building with all the statues, three streets down, on the right." Vixen said, giggling.

"Ah! Righ'! T'anks, Vixen." Krol'jas said, several Nobz following behind him. "An' make shure you'z catch up. I want you in dis' figh', too! Dat' new Mek-suit a' yer'z'll make fe'r a GREAT time krumpin'!"
  8. @BerzerkerOfKhorne(Hold it... I think we're forgetting the Tau at our position here and a few extra factors, let's see how the Tau react to a team of clearly traitor marines stepping out of a priority building (while they are talking to cleverly disguised Terran Siege veterans) first, before we even start talking about assuming you can do anything to another's character when multiple contact attempts were made, but not acknowledged)

Bloodletters quickly started spreading in groups of eights. One trouppe arriving at the museum, two at the rear gate, three at the front gate, one advancing towards the palace, one going for the armoury.

(assuming that I even get a chance to Deny The Witch, before the hounds pick up on psyker signatures) The dissappearance of the two marines would leave the guards to fall for the daemons first, allowing more important attendees at the scene time to escape or take defensive measurements.

Confessor Zeb awoke vionlently as the sounds of gunfire and explosions finally reached the top of the Imperial Cathedral he had made his home in. Grabbing as much of his gear as he could he raced throughout the gigantic structure trying to reach the balcony overlooking the now burning city, A hoard of orks ravaged some areas, while some aliens ravaged other areas. Many of the forlorn citizens had gathered in the courtyard of the palace trying to pray to the Emperor for some sort of blessing, some had began forming a militia in an attempt to defend the wayward gathering. Not knowing what else to do, Confessor Zeb switched on the Vox caster attached to his chest piece, preaching the holy word of the Emperor in an attempt to rile up the Militiamen into a workable fighting force, and making sure the Minor order of sisters within the palace had every entrance and exit sealed.
*Sorry if this isn't too good, This just seemed like a fun thing to try*

  10. (Which building? Because if your referring to the Museum, then I stated back in it's orignal post that this area was relatively low key and down on the Guard's list of important area, as it was basically only valued on it's age, hence on PDF and a single Guard Sergeant being stationed there. Really don't understand why people keep saying how important it is.

As for the Tau, are you referring to the Stealth team that has been somehow tailing me through mazes of sewage pipes, collapsed doorways, and passing through staircases barely large enough for an astartes, and still somehow managed to slip by my two guards posted at the stairways end?

Contact attempts were shrugged off, as we were trying to stay hidden, and long range communications could be noticed, and we'd end up being discovered. Besides, we believed we're the only followers of Chaos on the planet, who would be here trying to talk to us aside from an enemy.

And haven't you guys just been cruising around in a Rhino? Getting PDF to join you out of fear for their lives. Do they know that your alone? I mean, from what i understood, the guard at your command are following you and know you belong to chaos, so why would they stop other chaos space marines.

If you have the Psychic power to attempt to beat back my Aspiring sorcerer, by all means, say you resist, but unless you have a Collar of Khorne, which I would assume would only be on the Khorne Berserker, I'm not sure you have much to defend you.

As for the blood hounds, that was a mistake on my part, mix up on the current setting and such.)
