"I think one of them got some shud-eye speaking of which I need to do that." Geron said stepping out walking to the barracks to get some well needed sleep.
"Don't over sleep haha!" He shouted after Geron. He continued his meal, the whole time looking for the others to eventually show up.
OOC: Time Jump. Because it's Monday! TIME FOR MORE WAR! A day passed by, due to the elevator having malfunctioned. One of the 'lesser' companies of the Regiment, one filled with fresh blood and novices took over with two platoons the pretty much fortified and in-tact outpost and delivered also supplies for Hochmanns troops to carry with them. Squads 1 and 2, as well as 3 and 4 were somewhat merged, while squad 10 was completely replaced with a new support squad that even brought 2 Lifting Sentinels for the supplies. With that command squad marched down the hallway as the use of chimeras was impossible since the ceiling had somewhat collapsed during combat. Command Squad was at the tip, with them being in rows right behind Oskar. They could whisper to each other without Oskar most likely noticing, the sounds of the Sentinels engines echoing from the walls being pretty much deafening as they walked right behind the command squad, next to squad 1 and 2. Formation: (left - bottom; right - top) S10==>S8==>S6==>S4===>Sent1===>CS =================>S2===>S1=>CS==>Oskar S9===>S7==>S5==>S3===>Sent2===>CS They were half-day march away from the next outpost which is said to be lightly controlled by the Orks. Reports indicate no more than fifty Orks, although Oskar hate to rely on a days old report, who knows if they were not readying for another attack. The only good thing was that the other two platoons from the other tunnels had broken through on their side and waited for Oskars Platoon to be in position, so they could attack from both sides, easily picking Orks apart from three sides. The main concern here was that it was a major hub and could make defending the position harder once they reclaimed it in His name.
OOC: you guys are obviously all part of 'CS' I mean it would kinda had been obvious that you would be Command Squad... Where you exactly are is not really of importance, especially since I expect you all shifting around what not oh and something I forgot..... REMINDERS! Platoon Lead: Oskar Hochmann (@Uriel1339 ) Master of Ordnance: Artyom Walter (@Xaphen ) Lady Commissar: Xalia Umbra (@lord-watchman ) Commissar: Uther Valentine (@PorOborosCain ) Vox-Operator: Martin Falkenauge (@Vulpas - NPC) Veteran Soldier: Mark Vincent (@Colapse ) Veteran Soldier: Gerontius Malithine (@Valonox ) Veteran Soldier: Brock Mizer (@kanila ) Sharpshooter: Viktoria Kirsten von Kirschhain zu Auroris (@Casavay ) Sharpshooter: Techero Binalt (@High_Adept_Zeth ) Heavy Weapons #1: Gorbon Sobovostki (@DeranVendar ) Heavy Weapons #2: Franco Deskos (@DeranVendar )
<Gorbon and Franco> "Hup, hup, hup, hup, hup. " Gorbon carried on as they marched, his voice barely audible over the sound of the treading Sentinels. Slung over his back was a well maintained Auto-cannon, barrel poking up from behind his head. Franco was looking a touch chipper himself with a steaming flask of recaff in one hand and his las-pistol in the other, occasionally he'd pass the former off to Gorbon so he could get a swig and the effects of the drink were showing in their wide eyes and jittery holds.
Nudging Geron he jestered to the new 'Cubs' he spoke loud enough to be heard over the trailing sentinels, "They seem in high spirits now don't they!?" He grabbed a smoke out of his pocket and trotted over to a soldier carrying a flamer, "You mind?" He pointed at the flamer an then used its pilot light to light his smoke. "Thanks champ!"
OOC: Is it safe for the Platoon leader to stand at the front of the column? Commissar Uther had dwelled upon Hochmann's words since their last meeting. 'Perhaps you were meant more to lead?' Walking just ahead of the rest, he also thought upon his answer to the Platoon leader's question. Earlier... "It is our duty as soldiers of the Imperium and the Holy God-Emperor to seek out and destroy those that threaten His Imperium... However, I would have done the same. We must follow the orks to flush the green cowards from this world's depths, but that doesn't mean rushing in and risk falling into a deceitful xeno's trap. Such disgrace would have made my job of keeping moral very difficult. Sir..." Back in the present, Uther walked with his power fist behind his back. Leading of the men he had fought beside earlier. Admiring the sentinels and taking pride in knowing that they would cleanse this world without fail. Or die trying! "Eye's forward lads, into the abyss and we'll watch it blink!"
Martin Marched in formation with the others his leg was now bandaged and healed and his equipment restocked. He kept his Vox back on his back as they marched he glanced over at the new blood they would be having. Looked to be interesting people. He turned his eyes back to forward as he heard Uther's order. he really didn't want another bolt shot in the leg again.
