It is 'nids. There's a thread in the Resources section that has most of the confirmed stuff in it. 'Nids are the NPC race that will fight everyone. Other races may be added after launch. The most likely one is probably Tau.

You have a fine point, and I do read the stuff which the developers put up. However, they did say that there will be another playable... PLAYABLE faction which will be contingent upon what the community votes on. Nids are not playable..
No, there will not be a fifth playable faction. Each faction that has been announced will have a player-selected sub faction that players can vote for. Another Chapter for the SM, another Warband for the CSM, another Craftworld for the Eldar, and another Mob/Clan for da boyz.
Problably going with the nids since that's the only faction they havn't made a Mark for yet in the Faction hub. The good news is that there will be other races added POST-LAUNCH and i'll just screw everything and go tau.
