I want melee to be as tactically viable as ranged, mirroring irl military strategy in a way. Sometimes it's better to use some things than at other times. Allowing some leeway for the sake of fun playability, of course.
I would like no compromise in terms of balance. Eldar guardian should be weaker head to head than a tactical SM. Different classes/races should feel different, not be just different skins of the same thing. Stop mindless zergs from happening, make people actually use tactics or else they fail. I have high hopes
That's what I'm hoping for. The game should be balanced in a meta-strategic sense. Not a 1 v 1 sense. This isn't a MOBA where every class/character has to feel relatively balanced to every other. My highest hope would be that this game embraces a focus on real military strategy for victory, and a GvG mindset. A lot of the fun for tabletop is in piecing together your army. Putting together a "spec group" to use in different situations in this game would be just as fun. Having a wide range of access to different "units" would be fun for us players, as well as monetarily beneficial to the developers (in terms of character slots, unlocking racial access' etc.).
Top(highest Priority) Bottom (lowest Priority) - Endgame content containing of clanwars, arena and rating systems with a good balance or options for quick rerolls. This would keep me playing for a long time - Being able to make an impact to the battle: Hitting the back of an enemy with 3 teammates, getting confronted with small groups in little skirmishes to reach a important location or something. Not only Huge ass battles where you are getting melted to ashes by big tankguns. This would promote teamplay and raise the use of teams/clans/guilds/companys. - If theres PvE and PvP content, including new gear and such. Dont make the mistake of blizzard and mix up PvP and PvE too much. Try to separate it cause you dont wanna balance both together! Its all fun trying out new found weapons in PvP but dont take High end boss loot into rated arenas! - A place to meet my Friends, not only the battlefield, like if you log in your in the "guild" ship where you can customize and meet your mates before you drop into battle - Taunt options and emotes Have a nice day

Customizable armor options/colors. I loved the level of design control in the Space Marine game so something similar to that would rock.
1. World Eaters warband as a legion choice 2. The same variant of gear seen in the universe from all of the codec including those from pre-heresy and the betrayal era 3. Diverse loadout customization 4. Stable servers and engine coding 4.1. For the largest scale pvp ever seen in an mmo (must beat out ESO) 4.2. built to handle the updates that will come down the pipe 5. Customization as deep and vast as the tabletop game if possible.
I would love the battle to also take place in space! For example: Having to assault different planets as a chapter, then if the space conquest goes well, being able to take the battle to the planets surface. This could be improved by each chapter having unique qualities and deployables on the battlefield. It could be a full week long conquest in a system of the 40K lore. Just an idea!!!
