Alright so i have an idea inspired by many other Role plays that i have taken part in, In a very short and broad spectrum this is a role play based around a human colony ship that has landed on a new unknown planet which the characters <<You>> have to colonize and turn into a establishment that will eventually turn into a city, I myself am looking for a mature style role play with all the turning cogs working as one, this includes; Friendship, Politics, Re-Production of Life Etc Etc. The planets name is Halceon and is a standard Earth-Like world lush with various life forms and no historical facts of previous colonization. You can take the roles of the following Scientist - Biology, Geology, Physicist Inquisitor (Politics, only 1 allowed at any given time) Defense Astartes (3 Starters Allowed) Farmer Mechanicum Civilian (Ability to learn any of the above jobs) Governor (Contact of the Administratum) <<Character Sheet>> Name: Age: Gender: Job: Why you joined the colonization: History: Traits: Equipment: (Nothing too fancy Eg. Super Anti-Matter Gauss Rifle...No No) If you would like to join fill out the character sheet and inbox me, I hope you like the idea and join , Ideas for further development of this role play are much encouraged and appreciated, Got an idea on what to add to make it better or simply how to go ahead with things send em through
am i the only person who thinks this might be neat? seems more focused on the civilian side of a colony effort, the whole "carve a home out of the wilderness" type of thing
Well I just hoped some of the more advanced roleplayers would join, after the 'Deathwatch debacle' I am somewhat concerned. Either way. What is the limitations on the Astartes? Just regular chapter peeps or Deathwatch or all from the same chapter or what? What about Librarians & Chaplains? And if Librarian what rank or spells? Then also what about new equipment or if power armor gets damaged and so on? Or are we starting out with a factory or so big enough for the Mechanicus peeps to fix our stuff up? Keep in mind Astartes Equipment has different patterns versus non-astartes equipment. I.E. Bolter for Commissars and stuff are smaller than the Bolters for Astartes. (At least as per Deathwatch FFG rulebook)
Basics, nothing too elaborate for now, Im just starting out so Everything here is Basic Equipment needed for a basecamp colony
That doesn't answer anything regards the chapter I can take or if it would be Deathwatch enlisted in the service of the Inquisitor or not. Also what about the classes? <.< Specifics would help (you are the GM after all)
Basics meaning ultramarines of blood angels, any loyal chapter is fine and Tactical or Devestator, No up-town classes or out of Founding legions armies
So with basic you mean: Any loyal chapter that has been mentioned in lore. Means really anything from Blood Angels over Sons of Guilliman unto Flesh Tearers and Sons of Dorn? And what about Assault? Why only Tactical or Devastator? Can we then later on also ascend to Librarian or Chaplain or are we just stuck to what we are?
Hense fourth the scientists and researchers this is all about the evolution of people on the colony, you start with the basics and work up just like in any civilisation game
