Please make it so 3 factions can spawn in 3 spawn maps like Olipsis and the other night time dark one. I know the two main factions that join will always be LSM & CSM but adding a third faction even with fewer required(maybe minimum 3) players to join will give Ork or Eldar a chance to earn some req and play some games. If the 3rd faction earns extra req for having a smaller team it may be extra incentive for people to queue as well. Another idea is to crop one or two of those already existing maps down to maybe one or two capture points, increase reward gain, lower required number of players to join so that Eldar and Ork can actually play.
Deathmatch?! What is this, Call of Doody?! Better for a game mode other than what we have - more so capture the flag/standard(think Halo with multiple teams - if you played the series at all ).
Might a special mode (if we go with a smaller teamsize) disrupting? Like "prevent lsm from holding that area becauwe they seen us hiding loot behind that rock". So victory would be tied to the other fation. We'd need at least a new (might a bit hidden or from above) spawnpoint. A proper 3 side fight (full teamsize) could be fun too, but it would get a bit much of a lagfest, unless we go with 10v10v10. Mainproblem would be the need of a new map.
A lot of the maps could probably go 3 faction FFA right now. Just do the following: Defenders get their deployment zone and whatever 2 points are closest to it if it doesn't spawn vehicles. So on Olipsis, Medusa, that would be B and C. On Torias it would be B and A and on Pegasus, that would be C and A. Attackers start with just their deployment zone as normal. INSURGENTs get A on Olipsis and Medusa, and B on Pegasus and C on Torias. They have their own influence bar and can steal the victory from EVERYONE if they successfully attack. On the campaign Map, both attackers and defenders get a null result against each other so the territory doesn't move between them and it doesn't do wierd things to the campaign. Instead if the INSURGENT faction wins, it counts as an attacking victory against the defenders in their pairing, and defender victory against the attacking faction. If the INSURGENTS lose, the result is reversed and they lose against both factions simultaneously.
Hold the line maps would also be really interesting. Zedek could be: B and C held by INSURGENTS. D, deployment zone, and A held by defenders. Attackers: no change. Maggon: A and C held by defenders. B by INSURGENTS. No lives. No time limit. First faction to hold all the points wins. With the exception of attackers, if you lose all your points, you are kicked from the game.
